Jenelle Evans’ Father Wants Back In The Picture: Will She Accept His Invitation?

Jenelle Evans has shared her life with the world for many years, as she first filmed 16 & Pregnant with her mother, Barbara. At the time of Jace’s birth, Jenelle was dating a teenager named Andrew, but he quickly disappeared from her life. She’s rarely had any strong father figures in her life, as Barbara’s new relationship with a man named Mike was on-and-off. In other words, Jenelle never introduced her father to the MTV viewers. According to a new Radar Online report, Jenelle Evans‘ father has now surfaced, and he’s hoping that he can reestablish contact with Evans. Of course, Evans has two sons now, so he is technically a grandfather.

Apparently, Jenelle’s father may have read his daughter’s blog. Not too long ago, Evans launched a new website, where she blogs about her life. And she recently mentioned that she has a hard time dealing with her father. Robert Evans has been estranged for years, and Jenelle doesn’t recall seeing him in the past 10 years. Robert decided to speak to Radar Online about his daughter, who clearly misses him.

“They don’t call me. They don’t get in touch with me. And I have no idea how to get in touch with them,” he reveals about both Jenelle Evans and his ex-wife, Barbara. Jenelle’s father is now 67-years-old and lives in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and she recognizes that things used to be good.

“We use to have visitation with my father after the divorce, along with my brother and sister tagging along,” Jenelle Evans revealed in her blog, adding, “These visitations lasted for a few years … until my mother met my step-father, Mike.”

It sounds like Jenelle blames her mother for stopping the visits as soon as she moved on emotionally. But Robert doesn’t think that’s how it went down. He never actually met Mike, and he claims that he never went to North Carolina to visit his children.

“I was never down in North Carolina,” Jenelle’s father told the website. “I never even knew him.”

Whatever happened with her father, it sounds like Jenelle is ready to forgive and forget. Evans has a past that she wants people to forget, so she understand that something may have happened between him and her mother. And since Evans doesn’t have the best relationship with her mother, she may be more than willing to hear his side of the story.

“I don’t what happened in the past, everyone has a past but everyone can change,” Evans said about her father on her blog, according to Radar Online, adding, “I know he loved his kids and if he didn’t he wouldn’t have tried to be in our lives in the first place. Some questions sometimes are best unanswered.”

Even though Robert wants to meet up with his daughter, he doesn’t really want to take initiative. He tells the website that Jenelle Evans can contact him if she wants to talk. He points out that his phone number is in the phone book, and she can reach out to him. No word on whether Jenelle will take him up on his offer.

And if her father has followed her in the media, he may have some advice for her. Not only has she posed nude and dated violent guys, but Jenelle also made headlines for popping pills recently, according to Radar Online. The headlines are often not favorable for Jenelle, so she could use all of the support she could get.
