Father of the year 2009: Joe Jackson shamelessly exploits Michael’s death

On the red carpet at the BET awards, epic douche Joe Jackson mourned not his son, but the “greatest star… superstar in the world.”

With Michael now gone, his dad needs a new source of income, so after telling a reporter he and the family are “doing great!” Joe Jackson goes on to drop a shameless plug for his new record company.

It’s a telling legacy for Michael that while his body isn’t even cold yet his dad is trying to wring a few more dollars out of his lifeless corpse.

    Before we heap praise on Katherine Jackson, we need to consider her role in the damage that was done. Now one can argue that she was scared of Joe also, but I'm not quite ready to nominate her for Mother of the Year just yet.
