Marshawn Lynch Arrested For DUI In Oakland

Marshawn Lynch became the 28th NFL player to be arrested in 2012 after he was pulled over and detained by Oakland police following a DUI during the early Saturday morning hours.

Lynch was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol and during the stop an officer noticed that Marshawn appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

The running back submitted to a field sobriety test and eventually police realized his blood alcohol limit was above the states .08 legal limit.

Marshawn Lynch was booked and the 26-year-old running back later posed for what might be the most angry mugshot we have seen (see below).

After going through the arrest process Lynch was released on his own recognizance.

The arrest comes just four months after Lynch signed a brand new hefty four-year, $31 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks.

Marshawn has been a productive NFL player, racking up six 100-yard games, and rushing for over 80 in two others. Marshawn Lynch secured his new contract after breaking out during the second half of the 2011-2012 season.

Lynch is no stranger to off-field difficulties, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks after he became too much to handle for the Buffalo Bills.

In the meantime with 28 arrests already recorded in 2012 the NFL has a serious problem on their hands, a problem the league has practically ignored up until this point.

As promised here’s the pissed off mugshot Marshawn Lynch posed for on Saturday morning:

Do you think NFL players are getting too far out of hand?
