Teresa Giudice Gets Second Memoir Deal: Will She Leave Husband Out Again?

Teresa Giudice may be over the moon with the release of her memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, as people are rushing to the stores to read all about her journey to prison. When Teresa was locked up, fans didn’t get to see or hear much about her journey. But now that she’s a free woman and out of bankruptcy, Giudice is opening up about her journey. And being open and honest has apparently paid off. According to a new Radar Online report, Teresa Giudice has already signed a deal to write a second memoir about her life.

Sources say that the second book deal has already been signed. The book will supposedly “detail Teresa’s life as a single mom as Joe goes to prison to begin serving his sentence,” as he is expected to turn himself in soon. Apparently, Simon & Schuster, the publishing house behind Giudice’s first memoir, wanted a second book to document Teresa’s journey going forward.

“Simon & Schuster wanted the second book because they believe Teresa’s story couldn’t just be done in one installment,” the source told Radar Online.

Plus, Teresa has found writing “very healing. It’s good for her to put the thoughts down on paper,” says the source.

So, why haven’t you heard about Teresa Giudice’s second book deal? Well, chances are that the publishing company didn’t want to remove any exposure from this first book. Teresa has done a great job marketing the book, as she sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live this week in addition to interviews with Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, and Access Hollywood.

Plus, Simon & Schuster may want their money back. Apparently, the company gave Giudice an advance for $750,000 for her book and royalties for every copy sold. That is quite the investment in someone who has been hated by Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers. Even though Giudice claimed that she didn’t know she was breaking the law, people have a hard time forgiving her. Many believe that she’s still an evil person who would do anything to get more money. Others are more forgiving, saying that she has served her time and deserves a second chance.

The interesting thing about Teresa Giudice’s book, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, is that Teresa dedicates the book to her four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. They had to live a whole year without their mother, which must have been hard for them. But surprisingly, Giudice makes no mention of her husband, Joe.

“I thank God every day for blessing me with each one of you. You are my everything. I am so proud of you, especially your strength and grace during the time I was away. Seeing how strong you all were — and the love you showed me — helped me get through all of this. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you all to infinity and beyond. Love, Mommy,” Teresa Giudice writes in her dedication, clearly leaving out her husband Joe, according to Radar Online.

Of course, Teresa may have left Joe out because she just wanted the book to be an inspiration for her daughters as they grow older. Maybe she wants them to read the book and learn from her mistakes. Plus, Radar Online speculates that Joe may have been left out of Teresa’s dedication because of all the cheating rumors that surfaced while she was in prison. While Teresa has defended her husband in the media over the allegations, saying that she felt sorry for him, one has to wonder if she left him out on purpose.
