Eileen Davidson Suffers Yet Another Devastating Loss: He ‘Left Us Suddenly’

Eileen Davidson has only been on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills for one season, and a few episodes, but she has one of the most tragic stories. Despite only filming for a year, she’s lost several family members. And before filming the show, she lost her sister to cancer — something she has struggled with and talked about on the show. And according to a new Bravo report, Eileen Davidson is now struggling with yet another big loss — her big brother. This week, she wrote her blog for the show, sharing the news that he had passed and that she would be back next week with another blog about the show.

“I’m here with a very heavy heart to share the news of another beloved family member passing away. Sadly, my eldest brother, John “Jack” Davidson, left us suddenly last week at the age of 69,” Davidson writes in her blog. This is another sudden death for Eileen and her family. Over the past few years, they have suffered loss after loss.

“My big brother was a brilliant man. He graduated Cum Laude with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics from St. Mary’s College. A proud Vietnam veteran, he served our country as an air traffic controller during his deployment. He loved old cars and considered himself a ‘muscle car aficionado.’ He was heavily involved in all kinds of athletics, especially martial arts. At the age of 56, he received his black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate. John had a wicked sense of humor and a great love for his family,” Eileen Davidson writes about her brother, clearly celebrating the man that he was.

She is clearly heartbroken about losing her brother. When Eileen Davidson is filming the show, she’s always surrounded by family and her Instagram pictures show her with her kids, celebrating Christmas and doing family-oriented things. So it must be very hard for her to lose family members every year.

“He was the father of two amazing people, my nephew Johnny and my niece Danielle. He had seven grandchildren, Justin, Brendan, Emma, Adara, Kaitlyn, Noah, and Adam. He was lucky enough to meet his great grandchild, Aellyn, last year. He also leaves behind a loving extended family, a network of friends, and members of his community, who all share in the grief of losing him,” Davidson shares in her blog, ending her blog with the wish that everyone hug the people they love this week.

When Eileen started filming this current season of the show, she revealed that she had lost her father-in-law, Dick Van Patten. She tweeted about his death on June 23 of 2015, sharing that she was very thankful for the well wishes, according to Bravo. Just a year before that, on March 21, Eileen Davidson lost her sister, Connie, to cancer. Connie had been battling cancer for seven years, and Eileen was by her side when she passed, according to Heavy. Connie’s daughter, Brooke, was also by her side when she passed. As if that wasn’t enough, the family then lost Brooke on the following Mother’s Day.

As Davidson explained on Twitter, she was “incommunicado” as she learned of her niece’s passing. She didn’t go into detail about her niece died, but she did say that it completely broke her heart, according to Heavy. Eileen Davidson and her family have been through quite the turmoil over the past few years as they have lost beloved family members. And it is shocking that they are still losing loved ones.
