Tori Spelling Takes On Yet More Debt, This Time It Falls On Her Husband

Tori Spelling can’t catch a break when it comes to her money woes. Now, news comes that the former Beverly Hills 90210 star is helping her husband, Dean McDermott, pay back child support for his 17-year-old son Jack.

Radar Online reports that Spelling is paying the tab for her husband’s past-due child support to his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace.

“Tori is paying for everything,” a source told Radar.

McDermott, 49, owed $45,000 dollars in child support payments to Eustace, but his current working salary isn’t enough to cover his bills. As cash-strapped as Tori Spelling is, the 42-year-old reportedly picked up the tab for Dean. What a wife won’t do for her husband during the hard times!

As the report points out, there’s been a little relief since Jack is living with them in Los Angeles right now. While the teenager resides with his father and stepmom, they don’t have to pay his mother child support, the insider reveals.

The source added that Spelling “is not happy with Dean,” and none of their loved ones know “why she stays with him.”

Last month, it was discovered that American Express was suing Tori Spelling for an outstanding balance of nearly $40,000. Her last payment was made in August 2015, and the credit card company was after the reality star to pay up the balance in full or else. It’s unknown if that’s getting straightened out or not.

Over the weekend, there was another report that Tori and her family had moved from their Calabasas home in California to Encino. It’s their seventh move in five years, which a source claims was hard on the kids since they don’t have enough time to make friends before packing up and leaving again. Part of the reason Spelling moved to Encino has to do with being closer to her children’s schools.

While stories of Tori Spelling’s debt crisis may seem dire, the Hollywood Gossip reminds people that she has a safety net most people would love to have when encountering so-called money problems. In spite of Tori making it seem she has a horrible relationship with her mother, Candy Spelling, it’s not so bad that she doesn’t accept help from her.

The wealthy widow of TV producer Aaron Spelling takes care of her daughter financially where it’s most needed.

According to the report, Candy is doling out about $7,500 a month for the family’s essentials in their five-bedroom Encino home, but she refuses to pay for indulgences so that Tori learns her lesson about money management.

“I’m paying all her bills now. I’m not paying extras like that, I’m not paying any back payments,” Candy told TMZ. “Just for the house and the kids’ school and the food.”

Tori is accustomed to living in excess because of how she was raised. Now that she’s a mother making a name for herself in reality television, she expects to be able to live luxuriously, and it’s just not realistic.

Tori Spelling is probably a little embarrassed that she had to downgrade her living standards from that of Calabasas to Encino, but she needs to get a lot of things taken care of before she can move her way back up the real estate ladder. Besides, her Encino home is hardly anything to sneeze at. It’s 3,900-square-feet, has a pool, four bathrooms, a gym, and a huge yard for the kids to play in. To many, that’s a palace and the ideal American dream home.

When you’re talking celebrity status, however, it’s a whole different ballgame. Tori Spelling might not be “rich,” but she’s by no means hurting.
