Cynthia Bailey’s Marriage Could Be Doomed: Peter Thomas’ Latest Move

Cynthia Bailey has given her husband, Peter Thomas, many chances to prove himself and show his dedication to her over the years. And it seems like they have some kind of trouble on every season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The season that is airing now includes Cynthia’s reaction when she learned that her husband had been caught in a compromising video, touching and grabbing another woman. And according to a new Radar Online report, Cynthia Bailey may be upset with her husband once again.

It is no secret that Bailey feels that they are spending too much time apart. While Cynthia is working and living in Atlanta, Peter has been spending more time in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is here that his bar, Sports One, is located – and it is here the controversial video was recorded by a bar patron.

Now, Peter has dropped a bombshell. He is starting yet another bar in Charlotte. And this location will actually be marketed as a club. If Thomas starts hanging out at a club every weekend, Cynthia Bailey may be concerned about her husband and his wandering eye. He shared the news on social media.

“The HOTTEST CLUB in Charlotte is 6 weeks away. The grand opening is going to be EPIC,” he wrote, according to Radar Online, adding, “Another PETER THOMAS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP. @sportsoneclt @baroneclt.”

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bailey has complained that the distance was hurting their relationship. Bailey really wanted him to stay at home in Atlanta with her, where they live. She doesn’t want to spend too much time part, especially as they are trying to rebuild their marriage. And this isn’t the first time that Peter has opened another location. Last year, he told Bailey that he had rented a space in Atlanta to start a coffee bar while they were standing in the space. Cynthia had no idea that he had plans to open a bar, and she was shocked.

It is very interesting that Peter is opening another club, given he knows that their marriage is in trouble. Even though they were close to divorcing, they worked through some of their issues and even went on the couples trip to Jamaica. But when they talked about their problems in the beginning of the season, he admitted that his business ambitions superseded his desire to work on their relationship.

“You know and I know that there’s a disconnect between us,” Cynthia has revealed on the show, adding, “So we need to figure out what our plan is.”

“It’s like we got married and now it’s work, work, work, work, work,” he responded, adding, “Our ambition supersedes our relationship.”

While Bailey and her husband should work on their relationship, it sounds like they may be busy clearing up some issues instead. According to Korea Portal, Peter was recently charged with assaulting a patron at his bar. He was charged with assault after Brandon Patrick Link accused him of getting violent with him at Sports One in Charlotte.

“Authorities found a compelling enough reason to call Mr. Thomas in for questioning,” a source said, according to Korea Portal.

The sheriff also wanted to hear Thomas’ side of the story and get more answers, even though some cops who went to the site of the incident claimed in records that “no assault seemed to have occurred.”

Cynthia hasn’t talked about her husband’s assault case. She’s busy launching her eyewear line, and she recently had a trunk show. Her husband was nowhere in sight on her Instagram pictures. This is another sign that they are living very separate lives.
