No Doubt Returns With First Single In 10 Years [Audio]

Gwen Stefani and No Doubt haven’t been big players on the music scene for the last decade. But the hit 90s group is back with their first single, “Settle Down,” in the last 10 years.

The video, directed by Sophie Muller, shows the band driving trucks to a reunion.

Muller told Rolling Stone:

“I think [bassist Tony Kanal] came up with the idea that we should do something with trucks… The idea is they are all driving to meet after having had their separate lives over the last 10 years.”

Muller has directed 8 videos for No Doubt over the years and has become good friends with bassist Tony Kanal, drummer Adrian Young, guitarist Tom Dumont, and singer Gwen Stefani.

Muller said:

“I’ve worked with them so long, it was kind of natural that I would do this one. They sent me this song and said ‘Do you like this?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I love it.'”

The band has been together for over two decades but they saw their biggest success in the 1990s. On The Red Carpet reports that No Doubt has won two Grammy Awards and has been nominated for another 8.

Here’s No Doubt’s latest single.

A clip of the new video will premiere tonight at 8 pm. on E! You can check out a behind-the-scenes video about the new single below.
