Sylvester Stallone’s Nephew Blames Actor, Wife For Sage Stallone’s Death in Facebook Rant

Sylvester Stallone released a heartfelt plea today to the media to cease speculating about his son Sage’s tragic death last week, but a Facebook rant posted by the actor’s nephew places the blame squarely on Sage’s father and wife Jennifer Flavin.

Sylvester Stallone’s nephew, 18-year-old Edd Filiti, has lashed out at the actor in the wake of Sage’s death at the age of 36. Filiti, who posted the rant to Facebook prior to his uncle’s plea for privacy, says that his cousin was very depressed after being excised from his father’s life for reasons unknown.

The teen didn’t pull any punches in his Facebook comments about Sage Stallone’s death, which is somewhat understandable for someone who is under 20, and probably grieving the first major and unexpected traumatic death in his life.

To his famous uncle and Stallone’s wife Jennifer Flavin, the New York Post reports that Filiti wrote:

“What did he do wrong, say happy birthday… Neither you [Stallone's wife Jennifer Flavin] or he could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father… I know you don’t care what happened, but you’ll care when you’re squirming under the burning magnifying glass of public opinion. You people make me f— sick.”

Directly to Stallone’s wife — the stepmother of Sage, who is the actor’s child with former wife of 11 years Sasha Czack, Filiti said:

“Jennifer Flavin, you won… You tore this family apart and got your trophy, Congrats! Like you told my family, ‘I’m Sly’s family now, he doesn’t [need] you anymore.’ Lets see how much he needs you after this.”

Autopsy results in the death of Sage Stallone are pending.

    That's some family drama right there.The type that don't need to be aired to the public! ya know sometimes we never know when we are going to lose someone that is that close. Every family has family problems that's the norm.We say things do things but we always love them.Unfortunately some of us have to live with it all ended differently or wish they had the chance to do it all over again.To say it was his fault is out of line. No one has the right, it's most hurtful!
