Katy Perry Spent ‘All Day Together’ With Orlando Bloom And Son

It seems Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are the latest Hollywood couple and things must be getting serious, because Perry spent the day getting to know Bloom’s 5-year-old son, Flynn. For some time now, it has been suspected that Orlando and Katy had been involved, though Bloom’s interest in Selena Gomez created rumors of a love triangle in the beginning stages of their relationship. Now, however, there seems to be no separating Bloom from Perry and sources report that the two are equally happy together.

Katy Perry Bonds With Orlando Bloom’s Son

Perry spent the entire weekend with The Pirates of the Caribbean actor and his son, suggesting that they wanted to see how they worked together as a family, before taking things to the next step. Part of the weekend was spent attending a children’s birthday party at Robert Downey, Jr.’s home and sources report that Katy sat in the backseat with Flynn, as Orlando drove to the event.

“They were laughing, playing music and joking around with Flynn,” a source disclosed of the family’s experience at Downey’s home. “They stayed at the party for hours. Katy looked very comfortable at the kids party. She seemed very happy to spend the day with Orlando.”

Earlier in the weekend, 31-year-old Perry attended another birthday party with her 39-year-old beau, but this one was strictly for adults. Joined by Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman, the couple attended a dinner to celebrate Aleen Keshishian’s birthday at the Sunset Tower hotel.

Perry and Bloom were seen together for the first time in January, when the pair attended the Weinstein Co. and Netflix Golden Globes afterparty.

While his Pirates of the Caribbean alter ego might have had some trouble getting the girl, Orlando Bloom seems to have all the right moves to get and keep his lady, Katy Perry. While at the birthday party for his manager, Bloom was seen wooing Perry and getting intimate, as they held hands and enjoyed each other’s company.

“They were holding hands in their car. She was nervous about being spotted and entered quickly trying to cover up. Orlando opened the door for her. They were holding hands in the car. They each rested their arms on the center console and they were definitely interlocked,” a source said of the intimacy between Katy and Orlando.

Other sources suggest that the media is making too much of the romance, as it’s so early in their relationship. One such source, someone close to Perry, said that the singer is really just having fun, enjoying Bloom’s company for the moment, without giving thought to any long term plans. While that may be true on Perry’s part, it seems unlikely that Bloom would involve Katy in his son’s life, if he didn’t feel things were getting serious. For Orlando, it may be more than a fling.

One thing is certain. Perry and Bloom are definitely a hot item in the here and now, proven by their increasing displays of public affection. The two seem to be at every event together, making a show of their romance and making it clear that past exes have every reason to be jealous. Making it a trio with son Flynn shows that, while there may be no set plans to take things a step further, there is still the potential. Whatever Perry’s sources might say, the singer at least seems open to the possibility of taking her romance with Orlando to the next level.
