Rob Kardashian Receiving ‘Support’ From Family Amid Blac Chyna Romance, Malika Haqq Confirms

Rob Kardashian’s growing romance with model Blac Chyna may be causing headaches for members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but it appears that the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is still receiving support from his family despite the controversy surrounding his new relationship.

Speaking on the status of Rob and Blac Chyna’s budding relationship, longtime Kardashian family friend, Malika Haqq, opened up to Us Weekly about how the family is dealing with the public controversy surrounding Rob and Chyna’s sudden romance.

“They’re a family that’s always supportive. No matter how much they fight, I think anyone who’s followed them over the last 11 seasons can actually see that support is what they know best,” Malika explained during the NAACP Image Awards on February 5, noting that the Kardashian-Jenner clan will offer their support to Rob and his new relationship despite the ongoing drama.

“They can fight like cats and dogs but nobody else can fight with them,” Haqq continues, “They can do that with each other and keep it movin’.”

Malika, who is best friends with Rob’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, admits that while she feels that Rob is currently “going through [a] vibe,” she thinks that the reality star will be “just fine” when the controversy begins to subside.

“I saw Rob a couple of weeks ago,” Malika continues, “Rob is doing Rob, clearly. That’s what Rob is doing. I can’t say he’s bad, I can’t say he’s good. I can just say that he’s going through his vibe which kind of excludes other people from the choice that he wants to make and maybe that’s him growing from whatever discomfort he may have had.”

Malika’s update on Rob and Chyna’s romance comes just days after a source close to the Kardashian-Jenner clan revealed to Us Weekly that Kardashian and Chyna “bonded over their pain” after being “f***** over” by the Kardashian family.

The source explains that Rob was “seething” after learning that the Kardashian family had staged an intervention regarding his struggles with depression and weight gain earlier this year, leading Rob to get closer to Chyna in an attempt to “get back” at his family members.

Similarly, an alleged source close to Khloe Kardashian explains that Blac Chyna “knows [Rob is] doing this with a purpose” and notes that the mother-of-one feels like her relationship with Rob is “a jab at the family.” Blac Chyna shares a 3-year-old son with rapper Tyga, who is currently dating Rob’s 18-year-old half-sister, Kylie Jenner.

While Malika Haqq feels that the Kardashian-Jenner family will continue to support Rob regardless of his relationship with Blac Chyna, sources close to the family previously explained to E! that Rob’s sisters are “livid about their relationship and not supportive of it at all.”

In contrast, Blac Chyna’s best friend, Amber Rose, recently opened up about the model’s relationship with Rob Kardashian, telling paparazzi that she feels that Chyna is a good fit for Rob and that the model is encouraging him to work out and eat healthier, E! reports.

“Love them together,” Rose revealed when asked about Rob and Chyna’s romance. “I love Rob.”

Over the past few days, Rob Kardashian has been more active on social media while also sharing videos of himself working out in the gym and going on hikes with Blac Chyna since driving nearly 22-hours to rescue the model following her arrest in Texas last week.
