Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom first sparked the dating rumors when they were spotted getting cozy at several 2016 Golden Globes after parties. The new pair were spotted sharing a vape pen and having a heavy conversation. At one point during the night, Perry, 31, and Bloom, 39, packed on the PDA and danced to Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body” together.
Following their flirty interaction at the Golden Globes, an inside source told the Hollywood Life that the two gorgeous stars had their first date in Culver City.
“She looked absolutely gorgeous and perfectly made up, but she wasn’t dressed up – she was wearing jeans and boots. They weren’t holding hands but they were walking very close together, they looked cozy.”
The very next night, the couple was spotted together, again, at the Stella McCartney show. Orlando quickly went to Katy’s side when she showed up late. But in,siders claimed that the “Dark Horse” singer wasn’t feeling her new boyfriend that night, as she mingled with the likes of Nicole Richie and Kate Hudson instead.
Since then, they have been spotted together at several events, making fans wonder what’s going on — and what happened to Perry’s relationship with John Mayer.
Now it looks like the Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom relationship is really happening. According to Page Six, they are now cemented as Hollywood’s hottest and newest couple. Insiders claim that Katy and Orlando have been seen “cozying up” to each other at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Wednesday night, Feb. 3 that they attended with Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman.
“Orlando and Katy had that new-relationship glow about them. They were cuddling and flirting with each other all night.”
Another insider chimed in, “[Bloom] looks like an old baby.”
John Mayer also arrived at the Sunset Towel Hotel later that night. Fortunately for him, he was able to avoid an awkward run-in with both of his exes.
“Perhaps John knew there was a table of his ex-girlfriends in the restaurant, because he didn’t go into the Tower Bar and instead went directly into the hotel elevator.”
The Daily Mail published the photos of the couple entering the restaurant and leaving in a vehicle together. The report pointed out that Orlando even held the door open for Katy. The Page Six report also claims that the two were spotted together at a birthday party last weekend, so it’s possible that the two are just friends or are likely dating.
People also reported that that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom attended agent Michael Kives’ birthday party at a private home in Los Angeles last Saturday night. This event had A-list stars like Reese Witherspoon and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“It was really an intimate party. Everyone was having fun and dancing,” a source told the tabloid.
Orlando Bloom has been linked to various women since he split from ex-wife Miranda Kerr in 2013 after three years of marriage. He recently denied dating Selena Gomez and his friend Erica Packer. Bloom was last spotted with Los Angeles Chloe Bartoli, who’s also the ex-girlfriend of Scott Disick.
