Gwyneth Paltrow And Ex-Husband Chris Martin Are Relationship Goals For Separated Parents Everywhere

Gwyneth Paltrow is one charming woman, and according to Vanity Fair, her daughter, Apple Martin, has inherited that charm. Gwyneth Paltrow’s ex-husband, Chris Martin, frontman of the band Coldplay, was preparing for the big Super Bowl halftime show and he said that his daughter gave him some great advice that helped put it all into perspective.

“My daughter said the sweetest thing yesterday. She said, ‘How are you feeling about the Super Bowl?’ I said, ‘Of course we’re a little bit nervous.’ She said, ‘Dad, the worst that could happen is that you’ll get turned into a meme.’ “

Truer words were never spoken! As for Gwyneth Paltrow and Martin, they are apparently on very good terms. So much so that she told People that she likens Martin to a brother now, at least in terms of the fact that they are still very much like family.

“We spend a lot of time together. He’s been away for two weeks [promoting his album]. Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school. So… we’re not living together, but he’s more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We’re still very much a family, even though we don’t have a romantic relationship. He’s like my brother.”

Gwyneth Paltrow and Martin might not be a romantic couple anymore, but Paltrow does have romance in her life, with boyfriend Brad Falchuk. Apparently, Gwyneth Paltrow is not in any rush to get married again.

“I believe in marriage. But I’m not even divorced yet! So give me a minute. Right now [knocks on table] [my kids are] in a really good space. They’re smart, they’re funny, they have pretty good heads on their shoulders. We’ll see what difficulties come with adolescence and what careers they want. Unfortunately, I think they’re both gonna be drawn to perform. They’re naturals – they sing, act, play guitar, do stand-up – it’s brimming out of them. So I feel like my mother. Whenever I said I wanted to be an actress, she said, ‘Oh no, don’t. You’re too smart to be an actress. Do something else!'”

With her love life and children clearly going just great, what about friendship for the lovely actress? Well, Gwyneth Paltrow believes that her relationships are her greatest success in life.

“If you were to ask me what my biggest success is, it’s that I’ve been able to maintain and nourish my relationships. As you get older, you choose friends based on not only what feels resonant and warm but if they’re bringing something to your life. My women friends are incredibly intelligent. There’s no posturing, no competition. Especially in Los Angeles, I see pockets of friends who are very competitive, and I think, What is the point? I would rather be alone in bed with a book than have a girlfriend who is like that.”

Everything seems so perfect in Gwyneth Paltrow’s life and it seems that she can do no wrong. But Huffington Post reports there is one thing she is messing up in her life. Paltrow is crazy about creating the ultimate skincare line that she says is the best, called Juice Beauty.

“[It’s] better than anything you’ve ever found.”

But despite this, Gwyneth Paltrow is breaking the most important skincare rule, one that threatens her health. She doesn’t wear any sunblock when she tans.

“I still tan without sunscreen, which is totally f***ed up.”

That’s the crazy, yet talented Gwyneth Paltrow!
