‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Cast Members Spoil Big Return?

Days of Our Lives fans are freaking out after two cast members posted a harmless selfie on social media. Vincent Irizarry and Judi Evans posed for an adorable photo together, but it was what was in the background of the photo that got viewers excited.

According to Soap Shows, Vincent Irizarry and Judi Evans smiled in front of the camera on the set of Days of Our Lives‘ club TBD. In the background of the photo, it was easy to see a few people behind the actors, one of whom looks just like Freddie Smith, the actor who portrayed Sonny Kiriakis on DOOL.

As many Days of Our Lives fans know, Sonny left Salem after finding out that his husband, Will Horton, had cheated on him, but later returned for Will’s funeral after he was tragically killed by the necktie killer, Ben Weston, shocking DOOL fans everywhere. Now, is Sonny back in Salem?

Fans are certain that it is Freddie Smith in the background of the photo, and since the actors in the picture play his mother and uncle on Days of Our Lives, that just supports their case even more.

Another reason to believe that Sonny Kiriakis is returning to Days of Our Lives in the near future is that actor Christopher Sean, who plays Paul Norita on the long-running NBC soap, recently revealed that he’ll have a big storyline in the near future, and that could include Sonny.

Will Paul and Sonny get together now that Will is dead and gone and Sonny’s beginning to move on and pick up the pieces of his life without his husband? Days of Our Lives viewers may remember that Paul and Sonny have known each other for a very long time, dated, and actually were very much in love before Sonny even met Will.

Meanwhile, a lot is going on with Sonny’s family at the moment. Victor is said to be hiding a big secret from Maggie regarding his brother Deimos, who is currently blackmailing Victor’s son, Philip, to help him double cross his brother and get the formula for the drug that helped Caroline. Meanwhile, Sonny’s parents, Adrienne and Justin can’t seem to define their relationship. They’ll either get back together or divorce, either way, they could probably use Sonny there for support, especially if Adrienne is having health issues, which seems to be what the soap is heading toward with all of her tests and worries.

Meanwhile, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, another big return is coming to Days of Our Lives. Aiden Jennings is rumored to be coming back after his character was killed by Bo Brady in late 2015. Will Aiden return as a ghost, or did the DiMera family do something to him, such as find a lookalike to take his place in his quest to kill Hope Brady on their wedding night to collect her life insurance money? Either way, fans are confused by Aiden’s possible return for sure.

Jack Deveraux, the late husband of Jennifer Horton and father of JJ and Abigail, will also be returning the show, but it’s only for a short arc, which makes Days of Our Lives viewers believe he’ll show up in a flashback/memory that a family member is having, or perhaps in spirit form to Jennifer, who seems to be leaning towards having a painkiller addiction after injuring her back in the car accident that killed Dr. Daniel Jonas. Maybe she’ll see Jack in her time of need and will be motivated to seek help and get sober because of it.
