Lana Del Rey promotes other celebrities when they are associated with her.

Lana Del Rey Boosts Other Celebrities As ‘Boyfriend’ Status Still Obscure

Lana Del Rey has been lying low in the press over the first months of 2016 — but it appears that she has a full-time job promoting other upcoming celebrities.

Lately, it has been difficult for fans to determine whether or not Lana Del Rey is single, and the big news is that her alleged boyfriend, Francesco Carrozzini, is still selling his New York City apartment for $16 million, according to Daily News.

In the meantime, Lana Del Rey is being singled out in order to boost or promote other celebrities. Regardless, not all of these Lana Del Rey name-drops and references are in poor taste.

For example, Radio and Music recently included her in a list of “refreshing female indie musicians” and stated that Lana Del Rey was often used by fans to describe Soundarya.

On the other hand, Bustle brought up the past allegations that Lana Del Rey had lip fillers — a rumor she strongly denies, according to Complex. At that time, Lana Del Rey stated the following about having plastic surgery.

“I haven’t had anything done at all. Anyone who’s known me will tell you that. I’m sorry, but I was living in a trailer park for a few years. I didn’t even have enough money to buy Cocoa Puffs. It’s not like I crawled from under the bridge and got surgery. I’m quite pouty. [Laughs.] That’s just how I look when I sing.”

Nevertheless, Lana Del Rey continues to make people famous by association. For instance, Palatinate states that Lana Del Rey is making fashion designer, Mimi Ward, famous because Lana loves her dresses.

Alternatively, not everything that works for Lana Del Rey works for other people. In particular, in reviewing Sia’s This Is Acting the critic from Knox News points out that “if the morose ‘Space Between’ feels wrong, it’s because it was written for Lana Del Rey.”

In some instances, Lana Del Rey is the reason that an upcoming celebrity rose to fame. For example, Rip It Up says that Datsik has gained extreme popularity from covering Lana Del Rey and state the following.

“His recent remix of Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence is testament to Datsik’s widespread popularity, clocking in a whopping 3.56 million plays on Del Rey’s Soundcloud and 1.4 million on his own.”

Going in the other direction, Mstr Rogers helped make Lana Del Rey famous, and now this producer is making his own music, according to Billboard.

Also loving Lana Del Rey is Pretty Little Liars’ costume designer, Cameron Dale. In a recent interview with US Weekly, Dale revealed that “the perfect soundtrack to keep the energy levels high” on set was Lana Del Rey or Regina Spektor.

Some describe Lana Del Rey as the ideal first lady.

Adding to this, Rolling Stone also points out that Lana Del Rey is helping Hillary Clinton with her campaign success and that Clinton paid “$90,000 to a consulting firm in Portland, Oregon, to help compile the list” for her campaign songs.

Speaking of the White House, the Atlantic reports on February 3 that they are rooting for Lindsey Graham’s nomination to office because “Graham promised to have a rotating first lady if he wins” — and they are “rooting for Lana Del Rey.”

Despite this, if Lana Del Rey is in the White House, she may use the opportunity to film it for YouTube to promote her career. Supporting this, The Stir recently wrote the following about Lana Del Rey’s relationship with YouTube.

“Some stars, like Lana Del Rey and Jessie J, began posting uploading videos on YouTube in an attempt to take control of their careers following a string of false starts and label-related disappointments.”
