The Walking Dead cast may lost a few members during season two but AMC will be filling those spots during season three. The third season of the hit zombie show will introduce fans to Michonne (who made a brief appearance at the end of season two), the Governor (played by David Morrisey), and of course, hundreds of more zombies.
But zombies aren’t the only danger in the world of The Walking Dead. The new trailer comes along with the tag line “fear the living.”
The trailer premiered today at Comic-Con, but AMC has also released the four minute preview online. The trailer shows Rick and the rest of the crew as they enter the prison, which will be the main setting for season three.
“Weapons, food, medicine. We have to go in there. This prison is ours.”
Season three will also take The Walking Dead into Woodbury, a seemingly untouched ghost town overseen by The Governor.
In addition to the new trailer, AMC also announced the start date for the season three premiere. The Walking Dead will start on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
Here’s the new trailer. Are you excited for The Walking Dead?
