Harry Styles Free From Kendall Jenner And One Direction: Is He Following In The Footsteps Of Zayn?

Harry Styles is making some major changes in his life. Not only is he free from his boy band One Direction, but he’s also free from rumored girlfriend Kendall Jenner. It’s making some fans wonder if he’s trying to mimic his music rival, Zayn Malik.

It’s been over four weeks since fans have seen Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles together. Styles didn’t even celebrate his 22nd birthday with the brunette beauty. The couple reunited on a private yacht over New Year’s Eve, sparking the many photos that came out of their short-lived St. Bart’s vacation. It looks like the couple is over for the second time, as reports claim that Jenner feels foolish over their latest hookup.

Insiders close to the couple claim that Kendall’s been feeling distraught since Harry told her that he wasn’t looking for anything serious out of their relationship.

“Kendall is kicking herself for getting sucked in again by Harry. She feels like such a fool. It’s true that they never talked specifically about the relationship, but she never would have hooked up with him so publicly if she knew it was just going to stay casual. She caused huge drama among her friends and really upset Taylor because they made a pact to never give Harry the time of day again.”

The source claims that for the first time ever, Styles is feeling a huge sense of freedom since breaking away from One Direction during their extended hiatus. The last thing he wants to do is get into a relationship right when his solo music career takes off. The source claims that Styles has nothing against Jenner, but he just wants to focus on his career at the moment.

Another source confirmed to the Sun (via the Mirror) that Hendall are so over. The anonymous insider confirmed to the outlet, “Harry doesn’t want to settle down so he would never get a serious girlfriend during this phase of his life.”

The source added that their relationship “was never anything official,” even if their fans thought so.

“Harry and Kendall have got back together before but, in her eyes, it’s very much off at the moment and he’s arguing it was never even really on.”

On Monday, Jan. 1, Us Weekly reported that Harry Styles has officially cut ties with One Direction’s longtime management team, Modest Management, for a deal with CAA Management.

His recent actions are kind of mirroring Zayn’s after his departure from the boy band. When the gorgeous singer abruptly left 1D in March 2015, he was seen recording solo music with former music producer Naughty Boy. Then in August 2015, Zayn announced that he ended his two-year engagement with fiancée Perrie Edwards.

Since the split, the “Pillowtalk” singer has been linked to his share of beauties, including model Gigi Hadid, who is also Kendall Jenner’s BFF. After Styles reunited with Jenner on a romantic trip, he was spotted spending the night with a British stylist Pandora Lennard. When asked if she had a fling with Styles, she responded with a cliché “no comment.”

Now the guys are having some friendly or not-so friendly competition when it comes to their solo music careers. Rumors are swirling that Harry quietly believes that his solo career will overshadow Zayn’s.

“Despite Zayn’s unbelievable success with his debut single, Harry is quietly confident that his first single will do better. Like Zayn, Harry wants to distance himself musically from 1D for a bit, and his single will be far edgier, a lot cooler and have a tinge of rock and roll about it. He thinks he will blow Zayn’s solo career out the water, and Harry has the right people behind him who want him to be more successful outside of the band.”

Hollywood Life previously reported that Styles wasn’t impressed by Malik’s debut solo video. He reportedly thinks that the song is boring enough to put their fans to sleep! The alleged insider also said that Styles doesn’t think it’s any better than what 1D has done with or without Malik.
