Jerry Seinfeld Finally Creates A Show About Nothing [Video]

For years, Jerry Seinfeld boasted that his hit NBC show Seinfeld was about nothing. The two main characters on the show even pitched a script to fictional NBC executives about a “show about nothing.” But Seinfeld was about something. It was about the misadventures of four friends living in New York. The comedian’s new show, however, is about as little as humanly possible.

Here’s the synopsis for Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee: It’s about comedians in cars getting coffee.

That’s it.

Every week Jerry Seinfeld and a celebrity pal will get in a car, drive to a coffee shop, and have coffee. (Except for that crazy Larry David who ordered herbal tea.)

The comedian friends will sit down and talk about, well, nothing.

Larry David said:

“You’ve done it. You’ve finally done it. You’ve created a show about nothing.”

The new show will actually be a web series which will stream on Crackle. (If you don’t know Crackle, check it out. Especially if you like Seinfeld.)

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee premieres next week on July 19th at 9 p.m.
