Stassi Schroeder Talks Jax Taylor’s New Girlfriend Brittany Cartwright, Lisa Vanderpump Relationship, And Changed Cast Dynamics With Lala Kent And James Kennedy
Stassi Schroeder made her return to Vanderpump Rules on Monday night’s episode. Viewers watched her confide in Kristen Doute, whom she is now friends again, about her sex tape and Lisa Vanderpump’s involvement with it. Stassi then had a very tense conversation with Lisa, during which Stassi cried as Lisa ripped into her. In an interview with the Daily Dish posted on Tuesday, Stassi revealed where she stands with Lisa now. Stassi also talked about her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor’s new girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, and how things have changed with the addition of Lala Kent and James Kennedy into the group.
In response to how things are now with Lisa and whether they’re able to talk, Stassi made it clear that she and Lisa haven’t patched things up yet.
“I actually don’t know. I haven’t seen her, so you’re guess is as good as mine.”
While Stassi didn’t say that she wants to be closer to Lisa, she did say that she wants the relationship to be good enough so that things aren’t awkward between them.
“I just don’t want to have any issues with anyone, even Lisa. I just want everything to be easy, and whatever kind of relationship she wants or doesn’t want, it’s fine. But I just want things to be easy.”
On the latest episode, Stassi finally had a meeting with Lisa after not seeing her for a while. Stassi apologized for her disrespectful behavior and thanked Lisa for paying off the ex-boyfriend who had threatened to release her sex tape. As Stassi explained to Kristen earlier, the day she moved to New York City to be with her new boyfriend, she heard that an ex-boyfriend, who wasn’t Jax Taylor, was shopping around a tape of her masturbating during a FaceTime session with him. He wanted $900 to keep it private. Stassi said that she balked at paying him the money, but then she got a call from Lisa saying that she paid the guy off.
During her meeting with Lisa, Stassi offered Lisa $900 as repayment. Lisa, who hadn’t stopped scolding Stassi for all of the horrible things that she said about her, her business, and her staff, refused the money, calling it an insult. When Stassi got up from the table and exclaimed that Lisa hates her, Lisa retorted that she’s not important enough to hate.

In Stassi’s interview, she seemed pretty dismissive of what Lisa did for her, saying that she didn’t ask Lisa to pay the guy and that she doesn’t owe her that much. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lisa, after watching the episode, called out Stassi for not telling the whole story about the sex tape and not being sincere with her apology.
Surprisingly, Stassi Schroeder has much better things to say about Jax Taylor’s new girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright. Stassi said that that she really likes Brittany, who is “adorable.” Stassi admitted that Brittany is very different from her.
“I think she’s adorable. I really like her a lot. I think after watching her on TV, she handles herself with so much grace. She’s like a true Southern girl. When somebody’s saying something to her that might be rude, whereas I would probably say something snarky right back, she just has this genuine smile and nods and goes on with what she’s doing. And it’s not a fake smile, it’s seriously how Southern girls are raised — except, I don’t know why I wasn’t like that. I missed that one.”
Will viewers see Stassi meeting Britany? A preview shows Stassi and Jax nervously greeting one another at SUR. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jax, who had a tumultuous relationship and breakup with Stassi, had a surprising response when asked for his thoughts on Stassi’s return to the group and show.

As for Lala Kent and James Kennedy, who are now central cast members on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder admitted that it was weird to see how the group’s dynamics have changed with the new people. Yet Stassi made it clear that she’s okay with change.
“It was definitely weird to witness how the dynamics have shifted. That was very strange. [After being gone for some long], it was just like a 180. But that’s what happens with our group. I feel like every year dynamics shift and change, so you just gotta roll with it.”
