‘Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Will Glenn And Daryl Die?

The Walking Dead Season 6 mid-season premier will air in less than two weeks, and as it draws closer, more spoilers are making their way to the internet.

We’re going to jump right into some Walking Dead spoilers. If you don’t want to see them, stop reading now.

TV Line reported in November that Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be joining the Walking Dead cast as big-time villain Negan in the last half of Season 6. Fans of the Walking Dead comics know this guy is major bad news, in a way that will keep us tuning in every week to see what he’ll do next. But he isn’t expected to show up on our screens until April. In the meantime, does his appearance provide any Walking Dead spoilers when we consider the comics? Oh yes.

The whole game changes in The Walking Dead when Negan comes on the scene and take evil to a whole new level. Comic book creator Robert Kirkman talked to Vanity Fair regarding this villain and said he is an “atomic bomb that’s going to be dropped on the show and the show will probably never be the same after that. So buckle up, I guess?” In a Walking Dead spoiler about an event that will rock viewers, if the on-screen story line follows the comic, Negan will kill Glenn with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire.

Walking Dead fans have lately discussed the possibility of one of the most popular characters, Daryl Dixon, biting the dust this year. Walking Dead writer and producer Scott Gimple has said that there will be some “hard left turns” away from deaths comicbook fans may see coming. This Walking Dead spoiler becomes more likely when you add to that the fact that Norman Reedus, who plays the much-loved Walking Dead character Daryl Dixon, has been taking on more side projects and it makes you wonder. Walking Dead writers also have a habit of exploring more of a character’s dark side before killing them off. Gimple has stated that in the last half of this season they will make up for Daryl’s near absence in the first half and spend quite a bit of time in the last half of this Walking Dead season looking at a scary side of him, lending even more credence to this Walking Dead spoiler.

One more Walking Dead spoiler has emerged in last few days and it regards the fate of Deanna. In the last episode of the first half of the season, Deanna had been bitten by a zombie and knew that she was dying. She stayed behind in Alexandria while everyone else planned their escape. Last time we saw her she was picking off zombies as they came toward her in what she knew would be her final moments. She certainly dies, even for The Walking Dead, there’s no way around that. But in a recent article, Uproxx made an observation about her appearance in that zombie-killing scene and a photo posted to Instagram a couple of weeks ago.

The latest Walking Dead spoiler involves the clothing and jewelry she wore in that last scene. A pearl necklace hung around her neck and she was wearing a light blue/grey shirt with button-down pockets. In the Instagram photo the neck and shirt of a zombie are shown. The zombie is wearing a necklace like and a shirt like Deanna’s. While the fact that she becomes a zombie is no surprise, why would they create a promo that features her zombified version if we aren’t going to see her again in some capacity?
