Duggars ’19 Kids’ Reboot Filming Amid Josh Duggar Porn Star Lawsuit: Inside His New Sex Scandal Nightmare

19 Kids And Counting was cancelled by TLC two months after the highly-publicized revelations that at age 14, Josh Duggar had alleged molested five underage girls, including some of his sisters. And while some fans were disappointed, the Duggars themselves were heartbroken, People reported at that time.

Viewing the reality TV show as a chance to spread their evangelical Christian faith, the Duggars desired nothing more than to get back on the network, a source told People.

“[The Duggars are] heartbroken that they’ve now lost that platform,” said the source. “The Duggars want to return to TV because they truly believe it was part of God’s plan for them to spread the word about their faith.”

The insider revealed that because they let go of worrying about the molestation, Duggar matriarch Michelle and patriarch Jim Bob thought the public would too.

“I think Jim Bob and Michelle honestly did expect people to just move on from this,” explained the source. “Their thinking is, they put this behind them ages ago, so why wouldn’t the rest of the world?”

But as far as a future for 19 Kids And Counting, Kate Gosselin may serve as the model. When Kate and Jon Gosselin went through an ugly split, her show also was dropped. However, TLC then brought her back in the form of Kate Plus 8 specials, which have taken off.

Thus far, TLC has aired several Duggar family specials featuring two of the sisters, called Jill and Jessa: Counting On, reported Design & Trend.

But now it appears the 19 Kids And Counting clan is headed back to TV yet again, and that the wishes of Michelle and Jim Bob to have their platform back may come true. Select members of the Duggar family, including Anna Duggar, wife of Josh, were seen filming recently. As to which Duggars will star in the new 19 Kids And Counting reboot, some fans think it might be Jinger and Jana. In particular, Jana was seen filming with a TLC crew previously.

The cameramen were seen trailing the Duggar family as they went to a lumber yard, reported the Hollywood Gossip.

“John David sent over a list of things they needed to build a tree house,” revealed the owner of the spot where they were filming. “He wanted to make sure we have the stuff. We got it all together. Jana was really the one in charge. We asked her if she needed 4″ grooves or 8″ grooves and she knew the answer. She was the one giving all the instructions.”

But amid the filming, Josh Duggar is facing a new sex scandal in the form of a lawsuit filed by a porn star Danica Dillon, reported Radar Online.

Danica is accusing Josh of battery and assault during what she says were paid-for sex encounters. Duggar, 27, and Dillon, 29, will be going to a settlement conference on March 31. At that time, both Josh’s side and Danica’s side will have to tender a demand settlement or offer.

However, Josh initially insisted he would refuse to settle. Duggar claimed that the only situation in which he might agree to a settlement was if Danica would issue a public apologize for the acts of which he had accused him.

Thus far, however, Dillon is standing firm in her allegations. Those claims include that Josh, who remains married to Anna with whom he shares four children, attacked her during sex. Danica says that she suffered $500,000 worth of damage in both emotional pain and physical suffering. Among her accusations are that Duggar caused her to suffer PTSD.

The lawyers for Danica and Josh have signed confidentiality agreements. Those pacts keep everything from texts to pictures private. If no agreement is reached, however, Duggar may face his worst nightmare in the form of a trial by jury on May 25.
