Sarah Palin Says She Never Blamed Obama For PTSD After Son’s Arrest, Endorses Donald Trump

Sarah Palin is speaking out, and she is not happy. She sat down on Today with Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie, but Sarah Palin wasn’t very happy when they started talking to each other. Daily Mail shared that Sarah came on the show to talk about one thing, but Matt and Savannah tried to get the subject to go another way, and she was not happy with them at all.

Sarah’s son, Track Palin, was arrested not long ago for domestic violence. Palin was asked about Track’s arrest, and her response was not the answer they were hoping to get from her.

“Let’s start by, you guys brought me here to talk about Iowa politics and the caucus tonight not to talk about my kids and that was a promise. But as things go in the world of media you guys don’t always keep your promises evidently.”

Normally, when someone goes in for an interview, they can say that a few topics are off limits. Sarah Palin obviously said that talking about her kids was not supposed to happen, but they went there anyway. Savannah Guthrie also asked Sarah Palin about something she recently said that linked post-traumatic stress to her veteran son’s problems. Palin also said that the problems start from the top, and a lot of people took this that she blames Obama for Track’s issues.

Sarah Palin went on to explain her thoughts on her son and how he came back different from the war.

“[Track] was fighting for you all, American, in the war zone. My son, like so many others, came back in a bit different, they come back hardened. They come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airman and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country, And that starts from the top. That comes from our own president. Where they have to look at him and wonder, ‘Do you know what we go through? Do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America?’ “

Now, CNN is sharing that Sarah Palin is now speaking out and saying that she wasn’t blaming the president at all. Sarah Palin went on to explain that she doesn’t regret any of her decisions or comments at all because she didn’t blame Obama, regardless of what people thought. Palin does think he could do a better job of proving that he respects the troops, though. Sarah went on to explain her thoughts.

“I never blamed President Obama. What I have blamed President Obama in doing though is this level of disrespect for the United States military that is made manifest in getting budgets, in not trying to beef it up and let our military do the job that they are trained to do and in specific issues that we’re talking about that are so hot today, specifically let’s get in there and let’s utterly destroy ISIS.”

Donald Trump did admit to talking to Sarah Palin about how she should discuss her son’s PTSD, and even his arrest. Sarah obviously took his advice and talked about it. Trump says that our veterans get horrible care, and it sounds like he wants to help fix that if he is elected.

Not everyone agrees with what Sarah Palin had to say, or the fact that she is also endorsing Donald Trump in the presidential race. What do you think about what Sarah Palin had to say on Today? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts.
