Filipino prisoners back with Jackson tribute


The dancing inmates are back with a tribute performance dedicated to Michael Jackson.

After gaining international fame for their viral rendition of “Thriller,” complete with orange jumpsuits and what I think may be a ladyboy, the inmates at the Cebu Detention and Rehabilitation Center performed their famous routine again in tribute to the fallen star, flawlessly.

CNN reports that the inmates practiced for ten hours straight, breaking at 3am to rest for the public performance. Prisoners generally dance for five hours daily, or face losing priveleges such as conjugal rights. You can see the original “Thriller” performance here.
