Kylie Jenner Says She’d Rather ‘Date Herself’ These Days — But What About Tyga?
What exactly is going on between Tyga and Kylie Jenner these days?
That’s a fair question. After all, there have been numerous warning signs pointing to the possibility that the two are heading for Splitsville. Another point of consideration that deserves merit is whether they are even still a couple. One thing’s for sure, the romance between Tyga and Kylie Jenner isn’t what it used to be.
Another warning sign surfaced on January 28, when the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star hinted on her blog that she doesn’t want to involve herself in a relationship at the moment.
In the blog’s accompanying video clip, Jenner talked at length about her love life. During her talk, Kylie said that while she is “definitely a relationship girl,” she’d rather “date herself” these days.
Kylie feels that she just hopped from one relationship to the next. The first one, whom many speculate was with Jaden Smith, lasted for a few years. Jenner revealed that she went into another relationship (obviously with Tyga) when she was just 17. At 18 years of age, Kylie said that she’s feeling a “bit tired” and would rather concentrate on herself for the time being.
“I feel like I really need to find myself. And have like a relationship with myself. Because I don’t know what it feels like to be by myself. I feel like you have to love yourself before you can love anybody else.”
Going by the statement, Kylie Jenner didn’t say explicitly that she wanted to end her romance with Tyga. It’s fair to say that the relationship is currently on a temporary hiatus. Kylie, after all, is just 18 years old, and her statement about loving oneself before loving anybody else makes perfect sense.
As to Tyga? According to TMZ, the “Still Got It” rapper just moved into a new house near the Sunset Strip. And get this: the new house is 50 miles away from Kylie’s home. Considering the L.A. traffic, being 50 miles away from each other is considered a long distance relationship. Which goes on to show that Kylie Jenner is dead serious about the idea of distancing herself a bit from Tyga at the moment. What’s worrying for fans is that the new house Tyga just occupied was reportedly marketed as a bachelor pad.
Meanwhile, it looks like Tyga is still madly in love with Kylie Jenner. In this week’s episode of Kocktails with Khloe, the rapper said that he plans on marrying Kylie one day.
“Yeah, for sure. Yeah. I know that,” Tyga responded when Malika Haqq asked him if he’s still interested in marrying Khloe’s baby sister.
The two are still seeing each other, although not as frequently as before. According to Ace Showbiz, Kylie and Tyga were spotted partying in Hollywood on January 28.

If they do have plans of marrying one day, it may happen sooner than we expected, even considering the fact that the youngest sister in the Kardashian-Jenner clan just turned 18. In the sneak peek video of Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘ next episode where Kylie can be seen having a conversation with her father Caitlyn Jenner, Kylie revealed what she thinks is the right age for her to start bearing children.
“What do you feel like is a good age to have kids?” Kylie asked.
“30’s a good age,” Caitlyn responded. He repeated the statement for emphasis.
“I feel like 30’s too late,” Kylie responds. She then backed up her statement with a curve ball answer: “Every psychic said I’m only gonna have two kids.”
