Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Rumor Roundup: She’s Pregnant, They’re Getting Married, And More

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together for just a few months, but already, they’ve been faced with nearly every rumor in the book. From news of a pregnancy to news they’re expecting twins to reports of a wedding, The Voice couple has been a hot topic in the media for weeks, but so far, none of the ongoing rumors appear to be true.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton were featured alongside one another on episodes of The Voice season 7, and again during The Voice season 9. However, the latest season was much different than their first season together, because they were both newly single. In July, 2015, Shelton filed for divorce after four years of marriage to Miranda Lambert, and in August, 2015, Gwen Stefani divorced her husband, Gavin Rossdale, after 13 years of marriage.

Although the divorces didn’t appear to be related, Gwen Stefani and Shelton eventually found love with each other, and after weeks of rumors, the pair confirmed their relationship during an appearance at a Country Music Awards after-party in Nashville. Just hours prior to photographs being snapped of the couple drinking and hanging with friends, Shelton attended the CMAs, which marked the first award show attended by both he and Lambert, post-split.

Then, after just weeks of dating, Gwen Stefani began to face pregnancy rumors, and in the months since, they have continued. However, judging by the photo below, which was taken while Gwen Stefani was out in Los Angeles on Thursday, she’s showing a sliver of her belly, and most certainly does not look pregnant. In fact, Gwen Stefani looks quite thin.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have also faced rumors claiming they were expecting twins, and rumors of a possible wedding, but according to Hollywood Life, that wasn’t in the couple’s immediate plans.

“[Gwen Stefani] does not feel the need to go down a traditional path, she did the marriage thing and it didn’t work out, so she is not in a rush to go down that path again. But she is very serious about Blake, things are moving fast and she’s fine with it, they’re in love,” a source told the outlet.

Another rumor Gwen Stefani, who is not pregnant and not getting married, has been faced with is a report about her future album with Shelton. Earlier this week, a source claimed the duo was teaming up for a new country album.

“The album will be a whole new outlook on music, mixing Blake’s country voice and Gwen’s pop expertise — it’ll be an amazing crossover record,” a source told In Touch Weekly, via Hollywood Life on January 27. “Blake is just excited to be working with [Gwen Stefani] again. He can’t wait to show her the country ropes! He’s her No. 1 supporter.”

Meanwhile, claimed the source, “[Gwen Stefani] says country music will be great to add to her repertoire because it’ll increase her likability and sales. Plus, Gwen thinks it’ll make Blake’s friends and family like her more.”

Although a Gwen Stefani-Blake Shelton album sounds like a fun idea, and would surely be something that would interest fans of The Voice, the report appears to be completely fabricated. Just hours after the In Touch Weekly article was shared, Gossip Cop reached out to Gwen Stefani’s rep, who confirmed she and her boyfriend were not currently working on a country album.
