Cat Cora ‘Deeply Regrets’ DUI

Cat Cora, the host of Around The World In 80 Plates, was arrested for driving under the influence last month. The celebrity host issued a statement today saying that she learned a valuable lesson from her arrest and deeply regretted the decision to drink and drive.

Cat Cora said in a statement to Access Hollywood:

“I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable. I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again.”

The Inquisitr reported earlier that Cora was involved in a minor accident before her arrest. Cora, who was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence, told officers that she had three beers before getting in her car.

Cora submitted to a breathalyzer test and registered a .2o blood alcohol level, way above the legal .08. After the breathalyzer test Cora was taken to a “sobering center.” Cora was charged with a DUI then released.

She will be arraigned later this month.

If there’s a silver lining around Cat Cora’s DUI, it’s that she didn’t take some crazy celebrity mugshot. Her mugshot, actually, turned out kind of nice.
