Jennifer Aniston is coming up on 47, and she looks just as fabulous as she did back in her Friends days. How does she do it? Healthy eating, a good fitness regimen, and infrared sauna! People reports that Aniston and her husband, Justin Theroux, enjoy going to the sauna together.
“Justin and I do it together — we get a lot of good stuff taken care of in the sauna.”
But Jennifer and Justin don’t use a regular sauna. Instead, Aniston reveals that she enjoy using an infrared sauna.
“I love the infrared sauna. I discovered it a few years ago, and it went from a little portable igloo thing that you put your body in, to a little sauna we have now in our gym.”

Founder of Firm Body Evolution (not affiliated with Jennifer Aniston), Joseph Harounian, explained to People the way the infrared sauna works.
“Your heart rate goes up, you’re burning calories, and you start sweating, but it’s not your typical sweat that’s water, it’s mostly toxins that you’re sweating out. The infrared uses a near infrared and far infrared light. It’s the same frequencies that you get from the sun, but without the harmful UV rays.”
It definitely sounds wonderful! And her infrared saunas and fitness routine are paying off. Jennifer Aniston is very fit and healthy and she looks fabulous. But so does her husband. Theroux is ripped, and People reports that even Aniston thinks it isn’t fair that Theroux is so cut. Apparently, he looks like that no matter what!
“It’s sort of a genetic thing. He can work out or not and he has that body. It’s not fair!”

Of course, he does eat a very healthy diet, and he avoids sugar, but Jennifer Aniston insists that his body is just God-given.
“It’s sort of God-given. And an ‘F You’ to all of us!”
Jennifer Aniston recently revealed to Yahoo! Health that she and Theroux eat well and that she watches what she eats without giving herself any rules to follow.
“I don’t let eating habits get out of control where I need a reset button. My general philosophy is to eat healthy. It’s pretty clear: eat as much organic fruits and veggies as you can, keep sugar [intake] low, drink tons and tons of water, and get good sleep. I allow myself to indulge once in a while. I’m good at keeping my starches to a minimum. I don’t like ‘white’ foods, and I’ll always cut back on some breads if I’m trying to slim down for something special. But I don’t give myself any rules anymore.”
It sounds like a great philosophy, and it seems to be working. Check Jennifer Aniston out at the recent Critics’ Choice Awards.
People reports that Aniston has revealed that she wants to wear a bikini for as long as she can, even when she’s 80 years old, and with her lifestyle she can do it.
“If I can be the first 80-year-old to go out there successfully in a bikini, then I’ll take that on. I don’t think anybody needs to rein in anything because of an age. That is absolute BS. To each his own! Everybody needs to stay in his own backyard.”
With her birthday coming up, Jennifer Aniston isn’t quite sure whether to let it pass quietly or have a party.
“Is my birthday happening soon? Oh, that’s ridiculous. It’s too soon for that. I’m going to pass this year. I might just quietly celebrate. But I do love any excuse for a party!”
If she has a party, perhaps she’ll indulge in a little birthday cake!
