Are Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Getting Married? A Source Claims They Want Something ‘Simple’

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are just three months into their romance, but already, numerous reports have claimed the pair is headed for marriage.

In November of last year, following weeks of rumors regarding a possible romance, Gwen Stefani and Shelton, who were starring on The Voice Season 9 at the time, went public with their relationship during an outing in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to hitting an after-party, Shelton had attended the Country Music Awards, which also featured his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, as a guest.

Shelton and Lambert had attended the awards show together before, but ended their marriage in July 2015, just one month prior to Gwen Stefani and her former husband Gavin Rossdale’s divorce announcement.

In the weeks that followed Gwen Stefani and Shelton’s Country Music Awards after-party outing, the couple continued to be seen publicly in Los Angeles, and became increasingly flirty as they continued to film new episodes of The Voice. They also began traveling together to Oklahoma, where Shelton has a home, and to Arizona, where they enjoyed a Cardinals game (Shelton is a fan of the NFL team).

Since filming on The Voice Season 9 wrapped, Gwen Stefani and Shelton have also visited Anaheim, California, and been spending time with Gwen Stefani’s three sons from her marriage to Rossdale. Shelton also reportedly gifted his leading lady with a horse, which she labeled the “best present ever.” Although Gwen Stefani never actually said who it was from, the shoe seemed to fit, given Shelton has a ranch.

As Gwen Stefani continue their unofficial tour of love around the country, they are faced with ongoing rumors of a wedding, the latest of which was dealt by OK! Magazine on January 26. According to a source at the time, the couple was making an effort to save up for a wedding. However, according to another source, over a week ago, Gwen Stefani and Shelton weren’t planning for anything elaborate, nor where they sure when the event would take place.

“Talk of marriage has been on each others minds lately and they both have agreed that is in their future. But when they get to that stage they want to treat it very simple and only invite close family and friends. They would do a party at a later date for everyone else but they would want it to be more intimate,” a source told Hollywood Life on January 19. “Nothing imminent, but this year if they aren’t engaged that would be a shock.”

In the meantime, Gwen Stefani and Shelton are enjoying their passionate relationship, which reportedly includes a lot of bedroom-related fun.

“[Gwen Stefani] says their sex life is off the charts. She’s walking around on a cloud because of it. She hasn’t had this kind of sex in years. Being touched and appreciated by a guy again after so many years of not really feeling desired is incredible. She says she feels so alive,” a source revealed to Hollywood Life last week. “Blake is very passionate, very uninhibited.”

Although it was first believed that Gwen Stefani would not be featured on the upcoming 10th season of The Voice, Us Weekly has since reported that despite Christina Aguilera’s return to her coaching position, Gwen Stefani will be kept on the series, alongside boyfriend Shelton, as a mentor to his team.
