Liam Hemsworth Didn’t Propose To Miley Cyrus Again [Report]
Despite Miley Cyrus showing off her engagement ring and several reports confirming that Miley and Liam Hemsworth are once again engaged, it turns out Hemsworth never actually re-proposed to the star.
According to a new report by Us Weekly, Liam allegedly “never formally proposed again” to Miley with the engagement ring he gave her when he first popped the question back in 2012, and rather than waiting for Liam to ask again, Cyrus supposedly just decided to start wearing her ring again.
A source allegedly revealed to the site that “Liam noticed” Miley had dusted off her old engagement ring and rather than getting down on one knee again, the couple are instead just “telling friends they’re engaged.”
Miley first gave the world a glimpse at her ring on Instagram on January 18 when she posted a photo of herself sporting it on her ring finger while wearing a green polka-dot outfit and pink fluffy coat. Cyrus then captioned the photo, which has since received more than 300,000 likes, “I look like a f***ing strawberry.”

But despite Liam allegedly never formally asking Miley to marry him a second time around, it sounds like that’s certainly not slowing things down between the newly reunited pair.
As source recently confirmed to People that “Miley is beyond happy to be engaged to Liam again” and isn’t worried that things may be moving too fast between her and Hemsworth, who have reportedly only been back together for a matter of months. “It might seem sudden, but they have been very close for the past few months,” the source added.
The source also revealed to the site that “Miley wants to get married” and Liam’s family have recently come around to the idea of the reunited couple walking down the aisle.
“His family was very hesitant about a marriage in the past, but they really got to know Miley better when she spent time in Australia a few weeks ago,” the source told People of Miley and Liam’s romance. “Everyone seems excited that they are back together.”
However, it sounds like the same reportedly can’t be said for Miley Cyrus’s nearest and dearest.
According to a recent report by Radar Online, Cyrus’s friends are allegedly worried that she and Liam are “moving way too fast” since they rekindled their romance late last year and are allegedly worried that the two could once again find themselves in splitsville.

However, Miley allegedly isn’t too worried about her friends’ reservations when it comes to her engagement, and is convinced that Hemsworth “is the man that she is meant to be with.”
But despite the media circus surrounded Miley and Liam’s rekindled romance, both Hemsworth and Cyrus have been noticeably quiet about their engagement.
Hemsworth stayed silent when questioned about Cyrus by TMZ outside the Erewhon Natural Foods in Los Angeles earlier this week, where he appeared to completely ignore the paparazzi and their questions on his romance with Miley.
Liam’s brother, Chris, also stayed tight-lipped when it came to his brother’s engagement to Miley during a recent radio interview on Australia’s the Kyle and Jackie O Show, where he coyly denied having any knowledge that he and Cyrus were back together.
Hemsworth replied “not that I know of, mate,” when the radio hosts quizzed the actor on Liam and Miley’s engagement, joking that the only way he would find out about his brother’s relationship status is through the press. “I would find out through the press. I find out last most of the time,” Chris said.
