Kenya Moore On Kim Fields: Gloves Are Off In New ‘RHOA’ Feud

Kenya Moore speaks her mind when she doesn’t agree with something, and Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta got heated. Kenya wasn’t happy with the way Kim Fields expressed herself when it came to her brunch invitation, and it seems to be the last straw for Moore. According to a new Bravo report, Kenya Moore is now slamming her co-star over her behavior, saying that Kim is often speaking down to the ladies.

“We’ve seen Kim speak about the ‘group’ in a negative way before. She told Phaedra that everyone had their breasts out at my Kenya Moore Hair Care launch party and she ‘missed class,’ thereby calling us classless or trashy. She quipped before that we all looked like we were always on a red carpet and she often makes disapproving faces and comments while she is with us,” Moore points out, saying that her own brunch was not the first time Kim has slammed the girls.

Of course, Kim may just have pointed out the obvious at Kenya’s haircare launch, where the ladies were dressed to impress. However, the comment about “missing class” may have been a bit uncalled for, and she could have worded it differently. Fields is very conservative, and she’s very concerned about how people see her. Moore didn’t see it that way, and she’s ready to distance herself from her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star.

“I’ve had a little too much of Kim’s self-righteous behavior. Her ‘beatless brunch’ could have been to celebrate our natural beauty, which I think all of the women have, however, when her voice message specifically stated: ‘We need to be reminded what make up is for,’ that is when the message was no longer positive for me and more judgmental and accusatory. Translation: ‘You all wear too much makeup and you need to learn to wear less, because I do not approve of how you look,'” Kenya Moore points out, hinting that she has no interest in working things out with Kim.

Cynthia Bailey had truly hoped that Kenya and Fields could work together with her on her sunglasses campaign. Cynthia wanted to create a commercial, and she wanted both Kenya Moore and Kim Fields’ opinions on production since they have experience. But given how things are working out, it sounds like Bailey may have to choose one or the other.

“No woman should be made to feel as though another women does not approve of the way she looks whether it be her dress, makeup, hairstyle, Spanx, surgeries, etc… It’s all self-expression and to each his own. Further, Kim is the last person to tell someone how to look. You cannot encourage anyone to celebrate their natural beauty having had multiple cosmetic procedures and while wearing atrocious wigs made of fake hair… Nothing natural about that at all. Don’t judge lest ye be judged,” Kenya Moore pointed out.

Fields may not feel that she’s being judgmental. In her personal blog for The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she simply pointed out that she just wanted her intentions and her motivations clear. She just wanted the ladies to understand that she wanted them to celebrate their inner beauty, not criticize their outer beauty and their decision to wear makeup. Maybe Kenya just took this opportunity to criticize Fields because she already had some issues with her. She truly just wanted to celebrate the ladies.

What do you think of Kenya Moore’s opinion of Kim? Do you think Fields’ comments are out of line, or do you think Moore is overreacted to some of them?
