Charlie Sheen: Daughters Suffer Aftermath Of HIV Confession, Grim Reality Ahead?

Charlie Sheen has reportedly affected hundreds of people with his HIV confession, but now it is being reported that his daughters are also suffering as a result of his actions. Apparently, the former Two and a Half Men star didn’t exactly speak with his daughters – Sam, 11, and Lola, 10 – in private before going public with his confession.

According to the Daily Caller,Charlie Sheen’s daughters learned of his condition just like the rest of the world – during his interview on the TODAY show with Matt Lauer. When the story broke, it definitely didn’t take long before news outlets began reporting on Charlie’s shocking interview. However, fans weren’t the only people shocked. The publication reports that his daughters were quite devastated.

During an interview with Page Six, an inside source close to Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards recently shared the girls’ reaction to their father’s confession. The source also revealed the girls were at school among their peers when the world learned of Charlie Sheen’s HIV status. “When the HIV news came out, Charlie never told them,” a source said.”It broke when they were at school and Denise [Richards] didn’t even have a heads-up about it. She had to explain that issue much earlier than she anticipated.”

According to Radar Online, Charlie Sheen has been at odds with his ex-wife and mother of his daughters, Denise Richards. Their once-amicable co-parenting relationship recently took a turn for the worse shortly after Charlie’s confession when he evicted her and their children from the home they’ve lived in for years. Due to his staggering medical costs, Charlie Sheen has reportedly had to cut back on expenses, and the house was an expense he had to eliminate. However, that’s not all. Not only have his daughters been forced to move, but they can no longer attend their school, Viewpoint, either.

“Charlie is cutting expenses, and the kids are the first to go to maintain his lifestyle and it’s been going on for a very long time,” the source reportedly said, according to People magazine.

In fact, they’re reportedly having problems being accepted into other schools as well. Apparently, Charlie Sheen’s “erratic behavior” has contributed to the difficulty in finding a suitable school for the girls. The insider has revealed that 10 schools have refused to accept Charlie’s daughters. The rejections have made the girls feel as if it’s a result of their own actions.

“They applied to 10 schools and weren’t accepted to any of them,” the source added. “The schools were concerned after the situation with Viewpoint. They didn’t want to take the risk and have something about their school in the media or if he were to lash out at another child. The rejection was hard because they feel like they did something wrong.”

In addition to the school woes, Denise Richards has also had trouble receiving child support from Charlie Sheen. According to People magazine, she’s filed a filed a $1.2 million lawsuit petitioning the troubled actor for back child support. Apparently, collecting child support has been like “pulling teeth” since Charlie has such staggering medical expenses. The alleged abandonment is reportedly a low blow for Denise since she’s always supported Charlie. In the wake of his highly publicized confession, Denise has been one of the few people in his life to refrain from speaking publicly about his condition.

Denise was one of the few people in Charlie’s life who wasn’t paid to not talk about his health condition,” says the source. “She chose not to because he confided in her. She was one of the few that always had his back and supported him and never expected anything out of it. That’s what you do as a human being.”
