As winter chills and snow leave Americans housebound, Netflix is here to save the day with a stacked new February lineup of movies and TV shows that should keep viewers entertained at least until the weather becomes a little more livable.
In addition to original Netflix series, including the much-anticipated — at least by 1980s and ’90s nostalgia buffs — reboot of the long running ABC sitcom Full House, the new offerings include two critically acclaimed hits from the AMC cable network.
Here’s the Netflix teaser for Fuller House, which hits Netflix on February 26, in this video.
On February 1, just two weeks before the second season of the Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul premieres on AMC, the entire, 10-episode first season hits Netflix.
Starring comic actor Bob Odenkirk as struggling, small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill — known on Breaking Bad as “Saul Goodman” — as esteemed an outlet as the New York Times called Season 1 of Better Call Saul “better than good: It’s delightful — in a brutal, darkly comic way.”
Check out the AMC trailer for Better Call Saul Season 2 in the video below, then watch the first season on Netflix.
Season 1 of Better Call Saul hits Netflix on February 1.
A certified AMC classic joins the lineup on February 5 when the final seven episodes of Mad Men go online. For viewers who missed, or want to relive, the controversial and somewhat cryptic conclusion to the iconic journey through the 1960s of tormented but brilliant advertising man Don Draper (Jon Hamm), those episodes — the second half of Mad Men Season 7 — hit Netflix on February 5.
