Stassi Schroeder Talks Sex Tape Drama On ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ Lack Of Sex With Boyfriend Patrick Meagher

Stassi Schroeder and her boyfriend, Patrick Meagher, are on the rocks — at least according to a sneak peek at tonight’s new episode of Vanderpump Rules, the first episode in which Stassi Schroeder has been seen. In the clip, shared by Us Weekly on January 25, Stassi Schroeder was seen talking to her friend and co-star, Kristen Doute, revealing that she and Meagher have begun living separately.

“We got to this point in our relationship where it was just, like, roommates,” Stassi Schroeder admits to Doute. “We were barely having sex — we were barely speaking to each other.”

Stassi Schroeder began dating Meagher about two years ago, after wrapping production on the second season of Vanderpump Rules, which saw a number of dramatic on-screen moments. After learning her friend, Doute, had slept with her now-ex-boyfriend, Jax Taylor, Stassi Schroeder slapped Doute in the face and went on to quit her job at SUR Lounge, and head east, where she and Meagher began living together in New York City. At that point, fans believed Stassi Schroeder was done with the show, but ultimately, ahead of filming on Season 3, she and Meagher returned to Los Angeles, where they got an apartment. Unfortunately, however, things between the couple took a turn for the worse in early 2015.

“She’s on her way to rock bottom, and this is kind of her fault,” Doute explained as the sneak peek continued, not mentioning what it was that prompted Stassi Schroeder’s relationship fallout.

Stassi Schroeder goes on to explain to Doute that she’s still holding a grudge against Katie Maloney, who chose to travel to Miami with Scheana Marie and her now-husband Mike Shay during Season 3. According to Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Marie showed a sex tape she made with an ex-boyfriend to her co-stars, so Maloney establishing a relationship with her was a complete betrayal.

“It’s a big deal when you’re going to Miami with the person who just showed my sex tape to everybody,” Stassi Schroeder explained to the camera. “One thing I’ve really learned about myself is that I have a great ability to just cut people out.”

Stassi Schroeder claims Scheana Marie played a major part in her sex tape going public, but as fans will recall, the tape didn’t actually go public until Stassi Schroeder revealed the news herself during the Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Reunion. In fact, the tape likely wouldn’t have been mentioned at all if Stassi Schroeder hadn’t announced the tape on the show, as her former boss, Lisa Vanderpump, graciously paid to keep the tape under wraps.

In March 2015, Rumorfix revealed news of Vanderpump paying off a man formerly linked to Stassi Schroeder and begging a tabloid not to move forward with the story.

Despite Stassi Schroeder’s private struggles with her boyfriend, he was by her side when she endured her shocking sex tape announcement.

“Take the most private moment you could ever have, and then have people looking at it and shopping it around,” Stassi Schroeder explained of her heartache to Entertainment Tonight.

“[Patrick] was very, very supportive,” she said. “I wouldn’t have been able to deal with it without him. It was very hard for him. He held me while I cried, and he did the best he could and I was thankful for that.”
