Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra Wedding: ‘Teen Mom OG’ Couple Weds On MTV Series, See Photos

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra will walk down the aisle after spending a decade together on tonight’s new episode of Teen Mom OG. After struggling with hardships years ago, which the longtime couple worked through in therapy, Lowell and Baltierra will say their “I do’s,” and their many fans will get to watch.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been dating since fans first met them on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant in 2009, and for the last seven years, they have been featured on Teen Mom and Teen Mom OG.

On Saturday, Catelynn Lowell teased fans of the new episode on Instagram, writing, “This Monday please come and join us and watch our wedding!! I’m so excited to be sharing this special day with all of you! It’s a special hour and a half episode on #mtv starts at 10pm! #TeenMomOG.”

Celebrating the exciting event alongside Catelynn Lowell and Baltierra were their co-stars, Maci Bookout, Taylor McKinney, Amber Portwood and Matthew Baier. Teen Mom 2 couple Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin were also in attendance. Noticeably absent from the ceremony was Farrah Abraham.

After Abraham took aim at Catelynn Lowell on Twitter, claiming she shouldn’t be on Teen Mom OG because she gave her child up for adoption, she was left off the guest list.

“Farrah has a tendency to make everything about her,” an insider told Radar Online at the time. “If she had shown up, she would have created a spectacle… Farrah has made her feelings known. She has said terrible things about [Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra].”

Following their August 22, 2015 wedding, Catelynn Lowell and Baltierra spoke to Us Weekly, gushing over one another in a heartfelt, post-ceremony interview.

“I believe [Catelynn Lowell] was brought into this world and destined to be loved by me, cherished by me, admired by me, and forever cared for by me,” Baltierra said of his longtime partner. “There is no one else I would rather be than her husband and the father of her children. … I’m so honored and blessed to be able to grow old with her.”

“I always prayed one day that Ty would be my husband, and I am beyond blessed that my prayers came true,” Catelynn Lowell added.

During 16 & Pregnant, Catelynn Lowell and Baltierra were seen choosing adoption for their first child, daughter Carly, and as the series continued into its spinoff, Teen Mom, the couple did their best to cope with the difficult decision. While their adoption was open, allowing them to see Carly once a year, and receive regular updates about the child, Catelynn Lowell and Baltierra often struggled with their decision. However, at the time of Catelynn Lowell’s pregnancy, the duo did not have the financial resources needed to raise a child, nor did they have a stable environment to bring her into. So, in the end, they chose to give the gift of a child to a couple who could better support and provide for Carly.

Then, five years later, the couple welcomed a second child, Novalee Reign, born January 1, 2015. Prior to the child’s birth, Catelynn Lowell and Baltierra revealed they were ready for baby, claiming they had stabilized their lives, and both had solid jobs. Since then, the couple has graced fans with tons of adorable photos and video of their baby girl.
