Cara Delevigne Wore Puma Sneakers When Meeting President Obama At White House

Cara Delevingne recently visited the most famous house in the U.S. – the White House. And she did so displaying her own sense of fashion while trying to dress appropriately for such an esteemed visit. Marie Claire reports that Delevingne was present at the White House for a roundtable discussion for a new climate change project called “Funny or Die,” which is coming on the heels of the hottest year on record.

Cara Delevingne is well aware that Donald Trump and a number of other politicians refuse to acknowledge the climate change is happening.

Delevingne took the time to pose inside the White House and posted the pic to Instagram with a fitting caption.

“Let’s see how you feel about climate change in 10 years Mr Trump! It is painfully real. Also, can Donald Trump do this???? #itrumptrump #ichallengetrump #climatechangeexistsfool.”

There have been many celebrities aside from Cara Delevingne who have publicly spoken out against Trump and his policies and there is a movement called “Stop Hate. Dump Trump.” The movement has a website that outlines their concerns regarding Trump.

“We believe Trump is a grave threat to democracy, freedom, human rights, equality, and the welfare of our country and all our people. We have witnessed Trump inciting hatred against Muslims, immigrants, women, the disabled. We have seen him evidencing dangerous tendencies that threaten the bedrock of democracy: unleashing a lynch mob mentality against protestors, calling for the expulsion of Muslims from the country, bullying, and fear-mongering. History has shown us what happens when people refuse to stand against hate-filled leaders. We pledge ourselves to speak out in every way possible against the politics of hate and exclusion he represents.”

Cara Delevingne definitely had a great time at the White House, and she dressed appropriately for the occasion, except perhaps for her footwear. Teen Vogue reports that Cara Delevingne met President Obama wearing a pair of Puma sneakers. She did look otherwise tasteful for the occasion, so perhaps the sneakers can be overlooked. And she took the opportunity to grab a few fun photos during the experience.

Cara Delevingne is also having fun with another cool thing happening in her life. Channel 24 reports that Delevingne, along with Kendall Jenner, is being honored with wax replicas of themselves, which will be on display at Madame Tussauds in London.

Delevingne had to sit for a long time while sculptors worked to get the wax likeness of her just right. But she clearly had a great time.

Madame Tussauds also posted a photo of her wax likeness from the side.

The wax figure of Cara Delevingne will go on display just prior to the launch of London Fashion Week and will show Delevingne posing on the catwalk in a dress by Yves Saint Laurent.

Cara Delevingne isn’t just posing for wax replicas with Kendall Jenner; the two are good friends behind the scenes. In fact, the Belfast Telegraph reports that Delevingne is apparently the one behind the renewed relationship between Jenner and Harry Styles of One Direction. A source revealed Delevingne played Cupid.

“Harry’s been bombarding Kendall with calls, flowers and texts since he moved to LA after the band’s break at the end of 2015. Cara played cupid, encouraging Kendall to give things another go with Harry.”

What a great friend and a great world citizen Cara Delevingne is. And it looks like Donald Trump shouldn’t try to take her on anytime soon because she is clearly up for the challenge!
