One Direction’s Harry Styles: ‘Hendall’ Over, It’s Like Groundhog Day
Harry Styles has reportedly been dating reality TV star and model Kendall Jenner. Since new-year saw Harry and Kendall pictured getting friendly on a super-yacht in the Caribbean, rumors have been flying that Styles and Jenner are an item. Kendall and her mother joined One Direction star Harry and his mother on the yacht as they relaxed with the Azoff family. Many of Harry’s fans have pointed out that there were no photographs of Styles before Jenner arrived and none emerged after she left.
The fact that the photographs of Harry and Kendall were circulated by Splash, a company who frequently works with the Kardashian and Jenner families, raised more than a few eyebrows. Many One Direction fans believe that the relationship between Harry and Kendall was simply a publicity stunt designed to head off stories like the one in Mirror that claimed that Kendall is gay.
Many One Direction fans abhor the fact that Styles has been sexualized since he was just 16-years-old. Even since claims emerged that Harry was dating Caroline Flack, who was almost twice his age, we have seen an almost identical pattern repeated time after time.
If you stand back to look at the whole picture, what you see is a media created impressionist painting of Harry Styles, the love rat, the player, the serial womanizer. It is a sad fact that Harry only has to be on the same continent as a beautiful woman for them to be linked. It’s a tired and played-out image that must sicken Styles to his stomach.
The legend of Harry’s “winter girlfriend” seems to re-emerge every year. In 2011 it was Caroline Flack. In 2012 Taylor Swift followed by Kendall Jenner in 2013. Nadine Leopold was Harry’s winter girlfriend in 2014 and 2015 saw a return to Kendall. Every year it’s the same story, Harry’s new relationship rumor emerges in December and by the time the snowdrops appear it is all over.

This year it looked for a time that Harry would escape the relationship claims as nothing emerged until after Christmas but sadly the same tired old story is being played out again, albeit that we seem to be on fast forward this time around.
The Sun claims that “Kendall leaves two-timing Styles” at a party for Jeff Azoff “despite flying halfway across the world to see him.” The Sun proudly proclaims that Kendall stormed out of a celeb-filled event after just an hour and halfway through a speech by Harry after the Sun claimed that Styles had spent the night with stylist Pandora Lennard.
The Mirror claims that Harry and Kendall appeared cordial when they were spotted chatting at the party, but goes on to say that Kendall looked a long way from happy as she arrived and left the party.

The Daily Mail reports that it is “all over” for Harry and Kendall as a result of the rumors that Styles was “cheating.”
“It doesn’t look good for Kendall and Harry. She cancelled a modelling gig the other side of the world to be at Jeff’s birthday, she didn’t look happy on arrival.”
“Kendall and Harry spoke at the event and were civil to each other. They had a conversation at the bar and were not sat miles apart from each other. Kendall arrived 20 minutes after Harry, but didn’t stay for long.”
The saddest part of the entire Styles and Jenner story is that it is all so predictable and transparent. It seems that some members of the media have not heard the old cliche that “the first sign of madness is to do the same thing, in the same way, over and over expecting a different result each time.”
Some sections of the media, and seemingly One Direction’s management, think that linking Styles with some beautiful woman or another is what fans want to see. They could not be more wrong. Fans are sick of seeing Harry sexualized by the media. Year after year we see the same tired old stunt’s played out like we are living in Groundhog Day. It’s time to move on and let Harry Styles live his life.
