Rihanna’s New Album Finally Finished? ‘BBHMM’ Singer Drops Hint About ‘Anti’ On Instagram
Rihanna has been keeping quiet regarding any news surrounding the arrival of her eighth studio album, Anti, but it appears that the songstress may have just dropped a hint about the impending album’s completion on Instagram.
Earlier this week, Rihanna shut down rumors, suggesting that Anti had already been completed after she was spotted working in the recording studio alongside songwriter and producer Kuk Harrell.
Rihanna’s best friend, Melissa Forde, shared a candid snap of Rihanna and Harrell in the studio on Thursday while also seemingly dropping some hints about the reason behind the duo’s meeting.
In the photo, Forde added a golden crown-emoji over Rihanna’s head before writing “ANTI” in red across the bottom of the studio pic. In addition, Melissa captioned the photo of Rihanna and Harrell with a simple balloon-emoji, leading fans to believe that Forde was dropping hints about the album’s impending release.

Now, it seems that Rihanna may be dropping some hints of her own after she took to Instagram to comment on Kuk Harrell’s newest photo, which is cryptically captioned with the message, “Mission accomplished!”
Moments after Harrell’s photo appeared on Instagram, fans took to the comment’s section of the producer’s pic to speculate that Anti has finally been completed after months of speculation regarding a release date for Rihanna’s eighth album.
Rihanna seemingly confirmed the speculation after she commented on Harrell’s photo with several red balloon-emojis while giving a nod to Anti‘s cover art, which features a young Rihanna holding a balloon with a gold crown pulled down over her eyes.

While it’s not an official confirmation of Anti‘s long-awaited completion, it does appear that Rihanna has been dropping more hints about her impending album over the past few weeks.
Earlier this week, new rumors emerged suggesting that Rihanna may be planning to drop Anti around the same time as this year’s 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
The rumors come just one week after Rihanna appeared in a promo for CBS to represent the upcoming Grammy Awards, facing-off against NFL sportscaster Jim Nantz in a coin-toss conducted by Stephen Colbert to determine which major CBS televised-event will occur first next month, Us Weekly reports.
“We go first,” Nantz tells Rihanna before the songstress replies, “I’m worth the wait.”

Rihanna’s role in the promo has ignited rumors of a surprise performance during this year’s awards, although it’s unclear whether Rihanna will be performing solo or teaming up with Drake to debut their rumored new collaboration, “Work,” it does seem that an Anti-related announcement is on the horizon.
While fans continue to patiently await the release of Rihanna’s new album just weeks ahead of the start of the singer’s “Anti World Tour,” rumors of an imminent release for Rihanna and Drake’s new collaboration continue to make the rounds on social media.
Just weeks after a snippet of the duo’s rumored track surfaced on Twitter, fans were able to capture some behind-the-scenes snaps of the set for Drake and Rihanna’s new music video. While the details of the duo’s secret collaboration are minimal, an alleged casting call for the video sought out experienced actors to play the part of horseback riders and cops.
This isn’t the first time that Drake and Rihanna have teamed up for a musical collaboration; Drake was previously featured on Rihanna’s 2011 hit, “What’s My Name?” while Rihanna appeared on Drake’s 2012 track “Take Care.”
