Selena Gomez Gets Torn To Shreds On Social Media After ‘SNL’ Performance
Selena Gomez performed on SNL Saturday evening. The media reports about the two performance were fine. Us Weekly said they were very sexy.
“The 23-year-old singer graced the stage twice on the Ronda Rousey-hosted episode; first, with a stripped-down medley of ‘Good For You’ and ‘Same Old Love,’ and next, with a sexy, choreographed rendition of her latest single, ‘Hands to Myself.’ ”
“Selena is not a good singer much of the time. Off key!!!” said commenter Marcia Krause after the article.
“She is all style, no substance, she has no vocals to speak off, she has to go for the sexy approach as she is certainly no musician,” said Joanne.
Rolling Stone said that Selena Gomez’s performances were “sizzling.”
“Eager to help New York thaw out of its frozen conditions was Selena Gomez, who heated up the Studio 8H stage and squeezed three of her Revival singles into her two musical guest spots.”
Apparently, the commenters after the article would have rather been caught in a snow storm.

Twitter wasn’t very kind when it came to Selena Gomez’s SNL appearance.

However, there were some people who appreciated Gomez’s performance.

Despite mixed reviews for her SNL performance, Selena Gomez’s career is striking hot. She recently did an interview with Rolling Stone and revealed that her very first concert experience was seeing Britney Spears when she was 11 or 12. Even though her family couldn’t really afford to attend concerts, her mom saved up for tickets. Selena and her mother did manage to get nosebleed seats, and the concert was an awesome eye-opening experience for Gomez.
Gomez also talked to Rolling Stone about going to Mexico with a group of people to work on some songs from her new album — she did this in order to become more inspired. Her label thought that she just wanted a free trip, but Selena wanted to live with the group of people, eat together, and be inspired together.
“Well, I am sorry, first of all. And honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him.”
Selena Gomez is having a great week on the charts. She currently is at No. 5 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 with “Same Old Love,” and holds steady at No. 11 with Revival on the album charts, after peaking at No. 1 fourteen weeks ago. Gomez is trying to present an image of a Disney girl all grown up and, judging from the charts, she has been doing a great job at that.
