Anna Duggar Divorce: Relationship With Josh On The Rebound, But Trouble Could Loom With His Sexual Assault Trial
Anna Duggar was once rumored to be considering divorce after her husband was exposed as a cheater who used the website Ashley Madison in an attempt to sleep with women, but now the 19 Kids and Counting couple appears to be moving beyond that.
Anna was in the spotlight for much of 2015 when a series of revelations about her husband Josh rocked the Duggar family. First there was the revelation that Josh had molested a number of young girls when he was a teenager — including his own sisters. Though Anna knew about the allegations and said she had forgiven Josh, that was the scandal that ended up sinking their popular show, 19 Kids and Counting.
As if the cancellation wasn’t hard enough on the family, a few weeks later it was revealed that Josh was a client on the infidelity promoting website Ashley Madison. After this news broke, two adult film stars came forward to claim that Josh slept with them in exchange for money. One of them, Danica Dillon, is suing Josh, claiming that he battered her during the consensual encounter.

Amid all the controversy, Anna Duggar seems to have stayed away from the idea of divorce. After some initial rumors that Anna was considering a split, all indications point toward Anna staying by her man.

Anna Duggar reiterated that this weekend in a new blog post, one where she claimed that the ordeal has brought her closer to God.
“I’ve found that in my own life crisis God has drawn near to me (“He’s near to the brokenhearted” Psalms 34:18) and my faith has been more precious to me than ever before,” Anna said in a post on her family’s website.
But Anna also did not shy away from the controversies, saying that it has been very difficult for her.
“Many have asked how I am doing. So many have asked that its actually humbling and touching. 2015 was the most difficult year of my life,” she added.
Anna Duggar has been visiting her husband during his months-long trip to a Christian-based rehab center in Illinois.
“I want to thank all of you for your prayers and your messages of hope,” Anna wrote. “I can never express how your kindness and prayers have brought encouragement when I needed it most – outpacing the grief and discouragement at every turn.”
But though things may be fine for now, there could be more trouble looming for Josh and Anna Duggar. His upcoming civil trial threatens to expose the details of his alleged affair with Danica Dillon. Josh and his lawyers have pressed Dillon, with Josh claiming that he was not in the same city as her when the alleged sex took place.
But Danica may have some evidence of her own, and it could soon be public. Radar Online shared the details to readers.
“Josh Duggar has sworn he’s never met the woman suing him for beating her during sex— and he claims to have proof to back it up. But porn star Danica Dillon has her own ammo in the $500,000 legal battle, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
“In U.S. District Court documents obtained by Radar, the Christian father of four’s lawyer says Dillon’s Philadelphia-based attorney, Marc Frumer, has offered to provide photographs supporting her case.”
It’s not entirely clear what this photographic evidence might be, but to many it sounds like something that could potentially tear Josh and Anna Duggar back apart, and possibly even drive her back to the thought of divorce.
