‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: Tyrion And Jon Snow Targaryen Born?

Game of Thrones fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the popular HBO drama series in April, and everyone wants to know what is going to happen with the people of Westeros. The latest spoilers reveal that a fan theory centering around the three main houses of Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen could rock the entire show.

Some Game of Thrones fans believe in two different theories that link two of the most popular characters on the show to the Targaryen family, of which Daenerys is believed to be the only member still living since the death of her brother at the hands of Khal Drogo.

The first Game of Thrones Targaryen theory is that Tyrion Lannister, whom fans have seen recently befriend Daenerys on the show, is a Targaryen. The reasoning behind this theory originates from the book series and is that at the wedding of Tyrion’s parents, Tywin and Joanna, the Mad King, Aerys Targaryen, announced that it was a pity the law of the King to have the first night with the new bride was abolished. This could mean that Aerys did have a night with Joanna that night, or any night after since he had a way of getting what he wanted at any cost. If Aerys and Joanna were together, that is when Tyrion could have been concieved.

Of course, Game of Thrones viewers know that Tyrion Lannister is much different than the rest of his family. His father, Twyin Lannister, is very obsessed with power, money, and the way his family is percieved to those around him, while his brother Jamie Lannister and sister Cersi Lannister-Baratheon, the former Queen of Westeros, are in love and have been carrying on an incestuous relationship, which produced Cersi’s children. The pair are also known for finding a way to get what they want no matter the cost.

Meanwhile, some Game of Thrones fans also believe that Jon Snow could be a member of the Targaryen family as well. The reasoning behind this also stems from the book series when Ned Stark finds his sister Lyanna in a pool of blood at the Tower of Joy and makes her a promise. However, this is only shown in Ned’s dream and he awakens before the promise he made his sister is revealed.

The Game of Thrones theorists believe that the pool of blood was due to the fact that Lyanna had given birth to the baby who would grow up to be known as Jon Snow, and that Prince Rhaegar Targaryen fathered him. Ned, knowing that Robert Baratheon would slaughter his nephew promised his sister that he would take care of the child as his own, and announced that the baby was his own illegitimate son.

Some Game of Thrones spoilers for season 6 hint that Jon Snow’s parentage could be addressed or at least hinted about during the upcoming episodes and if the theory that Jon Snow is, in fact, a Targaryen is true them some fans who hope for a Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen meeting and possible relationship will be crushed. Either way, it looks like Jon Snow and Daenerys could possibly end up ruling over Westeros together, possibly with Tyrion if the theories about the three popular characters are correct.

Meanwhile, Daenerys will find herself in a very difficult situation when Game of Thrones returns for season 6 as she’s been found by a huge group of Dothraki, and most of them don’t want to accept her as their Khaleesi. Dani’s life could be in real danger, and it should be interesting to see how she (hopefully) gets out of this one, but her dragons could play a big part in her escape, or possible take over of the group.
