‘Quantico’ Star Priyanka Chopra Reveals The Secret Behind Her Great Body

Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra spent her early life moving from place to place with her parents, Captain Ashok Chopra, M.D. and Dr. Madhu Chopra, but she has still held on to her Indian heritage. Her education includes attendance at Martinière Girls College in Lucknow, India, and Maria Goretti College in Bareilly, before coming to the United States to study in Boston, Massachusetts. Yet, the Quantico actress still lists Indian music and dance among her favorites, while counting writing poetry and short stories among her hobbies. It seems understandable then that she credits her curvaceous figure to her Indian heritage as well.

Quantico Actress Priyanka Chopra Reveals Just How She Keeps Her Girlish Figure And It May Surprise Her Fans

Ms. Chopra has been acting in India since 2002, but she’s fairly new to American audiences and, as such, new fans are curious to know more about the Quantico actress. Most audiences are curious to know how Priyanka keeps such a voluptuous figure, asking what kinds of workouts she prefers and how often she hits the gym, but her answers often surprise and shock fans.

The truth is that Ms. Chopra doesn’t work out. At all. Ever.

“I have great Indian genes!” Ms. Chopra, who is rumored to have been cast in the Baywatch reboot, admitted. “You know, I’m lazy. I want to take advantage of the fact that I have a great metabolism. When I start getting fat I’ll work on it!”

Priyanka says that she sees no point in going to the gym, while she’s still able to maintain her figure without the grueling workouts. She has a similarly down-to-earth outlook on fashion as well. Unlike many of the Hollywood A-listers for whom labels are everything, Ms. Chopra says the key is to be comfortable. She adds that feeling at ease in an outfit breeds confidence and feeling confident is key to taking on the world.

Again, less is more, when the Quantico actress talks about make-up and skin care. She says she tries to take good care of her skin, so that layers and layers of make-up and beauty products are unnecessary.

“Every day, especially when I’m traveling in the airport and stuff and you’re feeling tired, you have to make sure you look perked up,” the actress says. “So hydrating the face, which is moisturizing. I always put a SK2 hydration mask on my face 20 minutes before I land.”

Priyanka Chopra Adds Producer To Her Resume With An Indian Short, It’s My City

There’s no denying Priyanka is a rising star. In addition to completing her first season on Quantico, the actress has also been celebrated in her native country of India for her work on Bajirao Mastani, which was a big hit at that country’s box offices. Now, Priyanka is all set to produce a film of her own.

It’s My City will be a 14-part, bi-weekly mobile series, produced under Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures, in a partnership with Endemol Shine India. The series will be available through the nexGTv app. It’s My City will focus on the lives of four women sharing an apartment together in Mumbai. Ms. Chopra will also star as mentor, “assuming the mantle of an official landlady, unofficial guardian and protective friend,” says a statement.

The series will premiere the first episode on Friday, January 22.

“There is a huge parallel that can be drawn to my own reality, of a young girl coming to Mumbai to literally make my dreams come true. I hope the stories are something the audience will identify with,” Priyanka says of the series.

Season 1 of Quantico returns on Sunday, March 6, on ABC.
