‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Not Dating Jeremy Calvert, He Proves Such With Photo Of Girlfriend Brooke Wehr

Leah Messer has been linked to her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, for the last couple of months. However, judging by Calvert’s Twitter page, he and Leah Messer are nowhere close to a reunion. In fact, Calvert’s eyes remain set on his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Brooke Wehr, with whom he appears to be back on.

On January 20, Leah Messer’s ex-husband participated in Woman Crush Wednesday on Twitter, and chose Wehr as his crush.

“My WCW we had our ups and downs but only to make us stronger & show us what we have together,” Calvert captioned the photo, which included a solo Wehr.

Leah Messer’s ex-husband began dating Wehr in early 2015, around the time their divorce was finalized, and around the same time that Messer began dating T.R. Dues, whom she’s believed to still be dating. Then, in July of that year, Calvert and Wehr traveled to Los Angeles, where Leah Messer and her family were filming the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Reunion Special, and embarked on an outing with Leah Messer’s ex-husband, Corey, and his wife, Miranda.

Because of Leah Messer’s strained relationship with the Simms, who were recently awarded with primary custody of her and Corey’s 6-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, the particular outing didn’t sit well with fans, and a photo tweeted of the four parties by Corey was later deleted due to backlash.

As for Calvert and Wehr’s relationship, a source claims they are officially back on after a brief split at the end of last year.

“They split for a little while but are back together right now and going strong,” The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported of Calvert and Wehr earlier this week. “Brooke is really different from [Leah Messer] and Jeremy is really happy with her. They have a lot of fun together.”

And while the pipe layer’s career often kept him away from home for weeks at a time, he has reportedly gotten a new job, which allows him to be closer to girlfriend Wehr, and to his daughter with Leah Messer, 2-year-old Adalynn.

“He’s still working in the pipe lining business, but this position means less traveling for Jeremy, which is good for his relationship with Brooke,” the source explained to The Ashley. “It will also give Jeremy a lot more time with his daughter.”

Although the couple have been in an on-and-off relationship for several months, Calvert is making sure he doesn’t rush things with Wehr in the way he did with Leah Messer. As fans of the show will recall, Leah Messer became pregnant just months into their relationship in 2011, and while the pregnancy sadly ended in miscarriage, the couple wed just a short time later and welcomed their first child in February 2013.

“They’re in no rush to live together or anything like that,” the source said. “They both have daughters, so they want to make sure that they are going to last before they move in together and get the kids involved.”

Although Calvert has been open with his relationship with Wehr, his ex-wife, Leah Messer, has been extremely guarded with her own relationship with T.R. Dues. In fact, it wasn’t until the end of last year when Leah Messer and Dues accidentally confirmed their romance with matching Christmas tree photos on Facebook. She also kept their relationship off of Teen Mom 2 during the show’s sixth season, despite the fact that she was living with Dues at the time. In fact, Leah Messer didn’t even mention Dues on the show, and he wasn’t brought up until Corey confirmed their daughter had revealed his live-in situation with Leah Messer prior to filming on the reunion.
