Jon & Kate Plus 8 will have a new cast member when the show returns with new episodes in August: Jon Gosselin’s Girlfriend Deanna Hummel.

According to a source quoted in the NY Daily News, “Deanna’s role isn’t expected to be big, but because she’s part of Jon’s life, she’ll be filmed.” The show will also change direction, tracking how the soon to be divorced Jon and Kate balance their time with their kids.

Another source also told the paper that Kate is “taking some time to think about her life…She’s upset about what’s going on, but she and Jon will always be there for their children, and they’ll always come first on her list of priorities. But considering she’s in the middle of a divorce, Kate is quite upbeat.”

    TLC has already officially said that this rumor is untrue and they have no plans to use her on the show.

    hi;Jon should not bring your girkfriends home… That is not nice.I looked up to him and now you are nothing.He just cares for him self.. not foris family that he has.One day he will wake up and I hope that Kate will not be there for him..And Kate you are a good mother.You need to step back some when somthing is going wrough.. And say that is ok..And that you need to be happy for what you have and think of the kids… Your Fan Always;

    i think jon is a self center dumbass that only wants to date other women…….i mean come one you stuck with kate for a long time and ooooh now you have a problem. i can't believe you left the women you love for that BITCH! she's going to do you the same way, just watch. i still thinks Kate is so awesome! she's just trying to take care of her children. atleast she's working and not at night clubs with other men or at her house with a bikini on while other men watch…….you are just a STUPID F@#%!
