‘RHOP’ Full Episode: ‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ Women, Husbands, Boyfriends, And Exes Get Big Reaction [Video]

Expect RHOP to join RHOA as a trending Twitter topic on Sunday evenings. That’s because RHOP stands for the Real Housewives of Potomac, the newest offering from Bravo in the Housewives franchise. RHOP is the latest in the series to offer a primarily African-American cast, and whereby RHOA many times focuses on the “ratchet” and “fabulousness” of the Dirty South, RHOP turns to the mysterious Potomac area.

According to ABC News, folks went searching online to figure out that Potomac is an exclusive enclave within Maryland, which the most recent census pegs as having only 16,000 households. Instead of ratchet weave-pulling antics from “the A,” RHOP is like watching a lesson in Miss Manners, Jack-and-Jill of America style. Everything a person might want to know about allowing the ageless birthday girl the center seat in a restaurant booth can be learned via RHOP — but that’s the weird etiquette stuff that has some Twitter users scratching their heads about RHOP.

Who cares about center seats and how long one should wait for the guest of honor until they can order food? Most RHOP viewers are reeling over the good stuff — like the fact that Gizelle Bryant was once married to Pastor Jamal Bryant. Gizelle called her ex-husband a “cheater, cheater pumpkin eater,” and said he liked to hide his sausage.

Karen Huger was the birthday woman in question, the eldest of the RHOP crew, even though the RHOP crew admitted not knowing her age. The full first episode of RHOP, titled “Mind Your Manners,” featured Huger’s birthday celebration. As reported by the New York Post, Karen’s husband is Raymond Huger — CEO of Paradigm Solutions. Raymond is a moneyed man who Karen made fetch her a bottle of wine from the cellar, because Karen didn’t want to sweat walking down the stairs. Other GIFS on Twitter already show Karen whining and moaning about walking up another set of stairs, so apparently, Karen has a thing about stairs and sweating.

Charrisse Jackson Jordan almost seemed like one of the most down-to-Earth of all the housewives on RHOP — that is, until Jordan started flipping out about Gizelle offering the services of her hairstylist and the duo making tons of noise as they cooked crabs a la a scene from Woody Allen’s Annie Hall.

According to Salon, Charrisse’s husband is Eddie Jordan. Charrisse did all she could to try and convince the RHOP cast that she was comfortable with the amount of time Jordan spends away from home. Eddie was the former coach of the Washington Wizards. Her husband’s current job as the head basketball coach at Rutgers University keeps him in New Jersey, while Charrisse is left behind in Potomac. Future sneak peek episodes of RHOP prove that the living situation isn’t as sexy as Charrisse initially made it seem with her husband.

Russell Simmons isn’t husband to Katie Rost, but Russell is one of the only black men the RHOP women said that Katie has dated. Katie discussed leaving her ex-husband, although they had three kids together, when Rost was four months pregnant.

Katie’s ex-husband is James Orsini, as reported by Radar Online.? Orsini and Rost were longtime friends, and Katie admitted that she thought they made better friends than lovers or married partners, so Katie divorced James. Rost spoke about hoping there wasn’t much resentment over her leaving, and how much the socialite needed to depend upon her family after leaving her husband, for emotional — and likely financial — support. Katie is the well-heeled extremely moneyed belle of the “gala and ball season” RHOP housewife.

Katie’s boyfriend is Andrew Martin, according to Bravo, and although Katie seemed more than ready and willing to make Andrew her new husband, Martin seemed hesitant about becoming Rost’s new husband.

Ashley Darby wasn’t featured much — if at all — in the premiere episode of RHOP, however, clips from future episodes cast Ashley as the young wildcard of RHOP.

Robyn Dixon was caught in her wedding dress by her ex-husband, a guy who acts more like a current husband, since Juan Dixon and his ex-wife still share the same home — and even the same bed! According to Bravo, Juan is an assistant basketball coach. Robyn spoke of infidelities tearing up the marriage.

As described in the first episode’s description, etiquette is everything with some of these RHOP ladies.

“Welcome to Potomac, where proper etiquette is key, and breaking the rules comes with serious consequences. At a birthday party celebrating Karen Huger, grande dame of Potomac high society, Gizelle Bryant‘s lack of manners puts the two divas into a battle for supremacy. And as if that wasn’t enough, Gizelle is under fire from Charrisse Jackson Jordan, for acting not very lady like in her plush home. International model Katie Rost, a divorced socialite with three toddlers, is doing everything in her power to get her boyfriend to put a ring on it. Meanwhile, Robyn Dixon, who lives with her ex-husband, former NBA star Juan Dixon, must decide if she wants to rekindle her relationship with her ex.”

The second episode of RHOP, according to Bravo, is titled “Divas, Queens and Bubalas,” is set to air on January 24, at 9 p.m./8 p.m. CT.
