Stassi Schroeder’s Possible Split From Patrick Meagher Discussed During ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ Is That Why She Returned?

Stassi Schroeder announced she was leaving Vanderpump Rules in May 2015, amid her years-long relationship with Patrick Meagher. However, in the months that followed, she and her boyfriend began experiencing problems, and she returned to the show.

Although it is unclear whether or not those two issues are related, some of Stassi Schroeder’s co-stars believe her return to Vanderpump Rules is extremely calculated, and that her alleged friendship with Kristen Doute is not at all genuine.

In a deleted clip from last night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, and shared on Bravo TV’s official website on January 18, Stassi Schroeder’s co-stars, including Jax Taylor and Scheana Marie Shay, discuss her mended relationship with Doute.

“Miss Stassi.. She’s trying to wiggle her way back into our group because her perfect life with her perfect boyfriend and her stupid s**t all is crumbling right now, so she’s begging her way back in… We all called this!” Shay tells her co-stars.

“You know, Stassi’s very smart. She’s very devious and she has a plan. She’s coming for the weakest link,” Taylor added, citing Doute.

As Vanderpump Rules fans will likely recall, Stassi Schroeder’s close friend, Doute, was exposed at the end of Season 2 after she and Taylor slept together. Because Taylor was Stassi Schroeder’s ex-boyfriend, whom she dated for years, the issue caused an understandable rift between the two, which is why many don’t understand their sudden reconciliation.

Continuing to Taylor, Shay revealed details of Stassi Schroeder’s odd relationship with Doute.

“Kristen goes, ‘We don’t talk about anything personal. We just talk about fashion and Chanel bags.’ That is the most basic surface friendship ever,” Shay said, giving air quotes to the word “friendship.”

“She goes, ‘Yeah, I don’t ask about her life, she doesn’t ask me about mine,’ and I’m like, ‘It’s cause she doesn’t care, sweetheart. She doesn’t give a f**k about you. She’s using you,’ ” Shay explained.

Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder’s on-again off-again relationship with Patrick Meagher continues to be a hot topic, most likely due to Stassi Schoeder’s secretive nature regarding their romance. In September of last year, as the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules was filmed, Reality Tea revealed Stassi Schroeder had moved in with Doute during production, but only because she and Meagher were “trying something new.” The site also pointed out that Meagher wasn’t a fan of reality television, which may have led to even more tension between him and Stassi Schroeder after she returned.

Although Stassi Schroeder and Meagher have reportedly split numerous times, she recently told Entertainment Tonight that was simply the nature of their relationship.

“We have our ups and downs, and we’ve broken up and gotten back together. It’s not like everything is just perfect, but we’re happy, and we’re trying.”

Stassi Schroeder began dating Meagher after wrapping filming on Season 2, and since then, the fashion blogger has been featured on the show only in a part-time role. Meanwhile, the story lines of her co-stars have taken center stage, and ahead of season four, Lala Kent was added to the show after landing a hosting gig at SUR Lounge, seemingly offering a replacement for Stassi Schroeder, who is rarely seen.
