Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth getting back together is a sign of destiny as far as Miley is concerned. The recent “rekindled romance” between Miley and Liam has Miley believing that they were always meant to be and that getting back together with Liam is nothing less than fate for the “couple of the century.”

Miley believes the “devastating” experience back in 2013, when she and Liam broke up after five years together, was something that had to happen. Cyrus, 22, and Hemsworth, 26, were both “too young” during the first phase of their relationship and needed more time to grow up and live life.

Now that the Last Song stars are back together, Cyrus can look back at the break-up with the certainty that “everything happens for a reason.” She is “convinced” that getting back together with Hemsworth is a clear sign that the two are “soulmates” who will stay together forever.

“Miley believes that her rekindled romance is like a fairy tale, that her and Liam are soulmates who were meant to be. She’s a very spiritual person, and feels that things happen for a reason. Their split was something that had to happen for them to get back together in the end.”

Fans would be thrilled if that turns out to be true, and with the way things are going for Miley and Liam, their romance might be as magical as Miley believes. Over the weekend, Miley was spotted at New York’s JFK airport “flashing” an enormous diamond ring on her engagement finger. It might be the ring Liam gave the “Wrecking Ball” singer back when they were together the first time. If it is, some fans are hoping that could mean that Miley and Liam are engaged again!

According to Hollywood Life, the couple are taking it slow and waiting to make a marriage commitment, but the love between the two is clear to see. They had a “fun time” together over New Year’s weekend and spent most of it with Liam’s family, signalling that the relationship is getting serious again. Later on, they were spotted “kissing and holding hands” when they attended a party at West Hollywood’s Soho House after the Golden Globes.

Liam has already said that he’ll “never” let Miley go, but the couple don’t want the “kind of pressure” on their relationship that would come with engagement and wedding plans now that they are together again. That pressure is exactly what led to their breakup back in 2013, according to a source who spoke to Hollywood Life about the on-again romance.

“Just because Miley and Liam are back together, it doesn’t mean they will get married any time soon. After they broke up, they remained friends and both came to the realization that the pressure of getting married was what drove them apart in the end.”

Miley and Liam want to take some time “to enjoy each other” instead of putting pressure on themselves and “rushing into” marriage this time around. They first got together on the set of The Last Song, and fans loved the romance of seeing “Ronnie and Will together in real life.” Now that they’ve both had a chance to date other people, “the two have literally been inseparable since November,” a few months after Miley and Patrick Schwarzenegger broke up. The Mirror reports that a source shared some super romantic inside news on how Miley feels about Liam.

“Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together.”
