Ellen DeGeneres’ Support For Hillary; Finally Adopts A ‘Kid’
Ellen DeGeneres is much loved throughout North America, but it seems she also has a fan base in the U.K. Variety reports that now, The Ellen DeGeneres Show will air in the U.K. on channel ITV2 starting on January 18. This is exciting news for fans in the U.K. and for Ellen herself.
“After what feels like decades of campaigning I’m so excited that my show is on ITV2. I can literally feel my crumpets tingling down in my cockles.”
Not only will Ellen’s show air in the U.K., but it will not be re-runs. Instead, the show will air all new episodes, following the air dates in the U.S. This will allow fans in the U.K. to see Ellen interview her very high-profile guests, such as the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Speaking of Hillary Clinton, Western Journalism reports that she was a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday and Ellen was very forward when speaking with her.

Ellen is a huge supporter of Clinton and she had no qualms when it comes to speaking about the double standard that Clinton is held to simply because she is a woman in politics.
“I mean, I’ve said it before, uh, that, that you’re held to a completely different standard than everyone else that is, seems to be, uh, held to.”
Clinton agreed that it is difficult being a woman in politics.
“If you’re forceful, you’re too forceful. If you’re not forceful, you’re not tough enough.”
Ellen was also sure to vocalize her support of Clinton during the interview.
“You know what a supporter I am. I think you are smart as can be, you are qualified. I think you stand for everything I want in a president.”
If there isn’t enough excitement going on in Ellen’s life with her wonderful guests and her show going to the U.K. market, Ellen is now enjoying a new addition to her family. E! News reports that Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, now have a “kid” to look after. This kid is small and very furry and his name is actually Kid.

“I have not talked about this yet, but we have a new puppy. Portia and I got a puppy and his name is Kid so now we have a kid. Yep. I mean, he is absolutely adorable. Though Kid is ‘cute as can be,’ it’s ‘not cute’ to wake up at 11, and 1, and 3 and 5. And then 5 is when he’s up, up. That’s Wolf. He’s you can’t tell he’s tiny. Wolf is not that big, but our other two — Auggie and Wolf — are doing great with him. They’re really teaching him a lot, but he’s so… Oh, God!”
Ellen is saying this as she shows a photo of him on her show.
She also spoke about how having this puppy makes her appreciate what it must be like to be a mother.
“It really makes me appreciate what it’s like to be a mother. Because like I’m trying to hold a puppy while I’m trying to make coffee. And I can’t do anything. He doesn’t let me do anything. And I named him Kid because, you know, people… There have been rumors forever. ‘When are you and Portia gonna have a kid?’ So, now I can say we have a Kid. So it can just stop.”
