Lamar Odom has surfaced for the second time in Los Angeles since leaving the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this month.
After spending nearly three months at the West Hollywood hospital, Lamar Odom, a former professional NBA player and husband to Khloe Kardashian, exited the venue to continue his care elsewhere. Although the prognosis for Lamar Odom was not good when he first arrived to the hospital after suffering a drug overdose at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Nevada, he was able to make good progress in the months since, and is now in the rehabilitation phase of his recovery.
According to a Daily Mail report on January 14, Lamar Odom was photographed in the passenger’s seat of a white SUV driving around Los Angeles on Wednesday. In the photos shared by the website, Lamar Odom was seen smiling behind the lowered window visor of the vehicle. And while it was not revealed who was driving the vehicle, Daily Mail noted Lamar Odom was being chaperoned.

Lamar Odom’s first public appearance occurred on January 8, as the Daily Mail reported the following day. At that time, Lamar Odom was more downcast, wearing a dark hoodie over his head, and sporting a blank stare. The vehicle he was driving during that outing did not appear to be the same vehicle as he was riding in on Wednesday.

Around the time of Lamar Odom’s first outing, his aunt, JaNean Mercer, who was among the family members who flew to Las Vegas after he overdosed, released a statement to Us Weekly regarding his health.
“[Lamar Odom] continues to make remarkable strides and we are asking that you continue to respect our privacy. Again we thank all of you greatly, your support has been paramount in helping to uplift us during these past few difficult months.”
In addition, the magazine revealed Lamar Odom had been moved by his wife, Kardashian, to a private facility near her Calabasas, California, home on January 6, where he would continue his rehab.
As for whether or not fans would soon see Lamar Odom’s medical crisis air on Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 11, which premiered at the end of last year, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. However, according to a recent report by Perez Hilton, a new sneak peek at the upcoming episodes seems to hint that it soon will air.
Months ago, a source hinted that Lamar Odom would be featured on the series — and claimed it was a decision he made by himself.
“Slowly but surely, [Lamar Odom]’s coming to terms with his reality and wrapping his head around the totality of his near death experience,” a source told Hollywood Life in October, 2015. “[Lamar Odom] knows he escaped death. He doesn’t want this to happen to himself again or to anyone else for that matter – which is why he’s on board with his entire situation being filmed and recorded for KUWTK.”
So far, Lamar Odom hasn’t appeared on season 11, but he has been spoken about by his wife, Khloe Kardashian, and her sisters, Kim and Kourtney. In fact, he was the cause of a major feud during a couple of past episodes after it was revealed that Kris Jenner had given him Khloe’s new number without consulting her first. The issue was major for Kim, who criticized her mother for bad parenting.
