Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Take Love To New Level: He Throws ‘Hissy Fit’ Amid Wedding & Pregnancy Rumors
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been delighting lovers of romance since they met. From their subtle smirks at each other when they first began their flirty fun on The Voice to their out-and-about PDA parade from Hollywood to a football field to his Oklahoma hometown, Gwen and Blake are the entertainment world’s most adorable couple to watch. And Stefani and Shelton haven’t let their fans down in terms of their romantic adventures as they recently attended a wedding together in Nashville, where Gwen succeeded in catching the bouquet, reported People.
According to legend, catching the bride’s bouquet means that the lucky recipient will soon wed. And so when Stefani captured the flowers at the wedding, rumors of wedding bells immediately bloomed. The tie-the-knot occasion was for the hairstylist to Blake, Amanda Craig. And the bouquet scenario actually had some unexpected help from Shelton.
“Amanda threw the bouquet, and it hit Blake in the head and fell on the floor,” a guest revealed. “Gwen picked it up!”
However, The Voice coaches also have shown their love for each other to the public by turning to social media.
“@blakeshelton [you’re] so funny and #cute,” tweeted Stefani in one such exchange.
But there’s one small hitch in their romantic life together coming up soon. Blake is accustomed now to having Gwen nearby when he’s filming The Voice. As The Inquisitr reported, Shelton initially wanted to solve that problem by having five coaches so that when Christina Aguilera returns to her chair next season, Stefani can be present too. For now, Blake will have to be content with having Gwen as his mentor.
Shelton reportedly was furious when he learned that Stefani was going to be booted out for Christina Aguilera.
“[He] threw a huge hissy fit [and] told them that he was considering leaving if they didn’t bring her back,” claims the source.
To make sure that didn’t happen, The Voice management devised the plan to have Gwen take on the role of mentor to Blake and his team. Radar‘s source also revealed that the arrangement will showcase the romance between Stefani and Shelton, providing an additional enticement to fans.
But that’s not all that Shelton wants. A source told Hollywood Life that Blake also has decided that when it’s time to tour, he wants Stefani by his side.
“When Blake goes on tour next month he wants Gwen to come with him,” said the source. “He’s even asked her if she wants to get up on stage and sing a duet with him. He’s all about having Gwen with him as much as possible.”
Stefani appreciates his desire, according to the source. In contrast to Gavin who desired more space between them, Shelton is Rossdale’s “polar opposite.”
“[Stefani and Shelton] have this running joke where she’s always trying to prove to him it’s better than Oklahoma. Now, Gwen is trying to convince him to make LA home. She’s been taking him out of the city a lot and showing him a different side of the city. LA is where she wants to be, so she’s determined to make Blake love it there as much as she does…it’s the kind of thing that could be a deal breaker if they stay together long term, the way they’re hoping to.”
As for what else the future holds? A source told In Touch Weekly that Stefani is pregnant with what she thinks is a baby girl, and that Shelton is thrilled at the possibility of having a daughter.
“Blake is going to spoil her like crazy,” predicted the source. “Whatever she wants, she will get. He’s so generous with his siblings and nieces and nephews, you can only imagine what he’ll be like with his own little girl.”
The No Doubt front woman currently has three little boys. And after she has that baby girl, the source added, it will be the final addition.
“Gwen will finally feel complete,” shared the source.
