It looks like Tom Cruise picked up on the Church of Scientology principles of brainwashing and complete control perfectly. According to a new rumor Katie Holmes was treated like a “robot” as Tom Cruise attempted to play “puppeteer” for all of her decisions.
According to a source at TMZ Cruise made all of the major and minor decisions in his wife’s life, both personal and professional, essentially attempting to sculpt her into his perfect version of a wife.
This news shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans of the actress, studios during the start of the couple’s dating said Tom Cruise was an “Art Kill.” That claim was made while Katie was busy filming Thank You for Smoking in 2005. At the time of the movies upcoming release the studio was instructed by Tom Cruise to “kill” any promotions that showed Katie Holmes and Aaron Eckhart kissing or engaging in “anything else compromising.”
Tom’s most recent show of suppression occurred while Katie Holmes was filming Batman Begins. Reportedly Tom wouldn’t allow her to fly with the rest of the movies cast instead forcing her to use his personal jet, a situation Morgan Freeman called “disgusting.”
Sure Katie Holmes for the length of her marriage had access to private jets, multiple homes and anything else she could want for then again she wasn’t allowed to make her own choices.

How do you know so much about what Tom thought, or how smart he does or doesn't think she is? And how in the world do you know what kind of a mother she is to her children? I don't presume to know exactly what goes on in anyone's marriage but from everything I've ever seen read or heard one thing I do believe is that Katie is a good mother to her children and once she is free of the obvious control and unhappiness she has endured with Tom Cruise she will be able to be an even better one.

And third, this is his third marriage, right? I'll still watch his movies because he's good in them, but that doesn't mean I like or respect him as a person. Hollywood isn't reality, let's not forget that.
